The SP is weird, man. I've been an SP user for 10+ years, but really only made a few beats with it. I record into it and modify sounds, but I always get tired of trying to piece together beats with it haha. It's cool, you can do a lot with it, but it's all about committing a sound to audio then sequencing that. Very weird method haha.
Not the most intuitive device, that's for sure. Be prepared to learn a lot of exotic shortcuts or you will see this device ending up as just an expensive FX processor for your MPC. Like in the majority of the SP404 videos out there.
