Bolo the way you use machine is how I’ve used it also since 2017.. and that’s before me going back to MPC it just always felt like the most logical way to do it
This is why I don't fall for the MPC is better this or Maschine is better that everybody loves to say or do. It's just a different way of doing the same thing. Been on Maschine since 09 and just got a MPC (2500 for the sound) and all I want to do is pull my MK3 back out. I want the best of both worlds so I just need to learn this new format so I can eventually use them in tandem. Bolo that video you did with Black Metaphor a while back opened my eyes a little bit and made me think....Why not use both?
As a primary Maschine user, your explanation overloaded my brain capacity. Midi should not be this complicated Native instruments. Recording my synths to my mpc live 2 is so much smoother and easy setup. Maschine need to get this together lol
I have a question. What are you gaining by running a keyboard that already has, in my opinion a nice sequencer built in it like a Fantom, Fantom 0, or even a Fantom X into a MPC? I’m not being critical but I have been curious whether it would benefit me.
Maschine + is OUTTA HERE!!!!!✌🏾 sold it to get my MPC Live 2 back. If I miss it, I’ll just grab a MK3 for like 300 bucks the machine plus it’s just not worth it
Bro, I did the same exact thing. I also converted my NI expansions to Akai MPC format with images and everything attached and now I’m selling all of my NI Expansions as well as Komplete 13 Ultimate Collectors edition.
After years of messing with my Maschine + and the MPC, I’m finding that the MPC is easier and faster now to get ideas out quicker and the beats are hard asF. More parameters to get the sounds you want in a faster time for me and it’s just more fun overall.
My maschine setup is cool I have a few external hardwares hooked up. I really do like maschine, it’s my go to. But my MPC midi synced gear is far more expansive I practically have around 15-20 pieces connected and it’s just better. But I still like Maschine better lol
Its real easy to set up for me but i also use the software so maybe thats why its easier to understand and know where to go and change settings... idk just my 2 cents I to also put everything in separate groups but cept my main drums but 808 and hihat and instruments get own group
Which device would you say led to more problems: Maschine Plus or the 06? I might eventually attempt to pair my Maschine Studio with my still fairly new 07, but I am now more interested in connecting the 07 to Logic Pro X and hearing what happens. Check out the videos for the Roland 0 series by product specialists as the Virtual Tone Wheel (VTW) typically uses midi channel 2 and drums use trusty midi channel 10. Thanks for sharing your experiences in pairing these 2 devices together because it will save a lot of viewers a lot of time or provide a stable warning if they choose to pair the devices if at all. 🎢
k, i’ve been hunting for a easy way to jump across midi channels like that. like a midi controller that has an button to jump between channels so i can control different hardware devices without menu diving. anybody know a method cheaper than buying a machine?

See this is why the MPC is better for me! I use the MPC, roland fathom 8 and Triton Extreme... just midi up and go
I noticed that the Roland Fantom 0 has a better sequencer than the Yamaha modx
I just cant get the song mode on Maschine.... Its too confusing
After you arrange a full beat once you can save it as a template. So every time you make a new beat you don't have to arrange it from scratch.

The Akai Force is incredibly sleepy on. I use my Fanthom 06 with it flawlessly.
