A tip for shotgun characters, Instead of starting with close quarters, buy headshot booster. When hitting an enemy player across the lane, instead of doing 8 dmg a shot you do 40+, helps with poke damage, especially on someone close range like abrahms. Do not sleep on it.
I'm just gonna put it out there that most heroes have dedicated YT channels for them with more in-depth guides that you should check out if you're interested in a specific hero since the builds here are not the best or just aren't explained well Pocket for example, has a very specific upgrade order that doesn't really get explained here and is even missing / has suboptimal items. Dedicated videos will always have the best info for learning
ya I agree, just tried this haze build and it didnt feel good at all. not getting purps early like ammo scavenger + extra spirit for a ton of ammo just makes everything feel so bad, constantly had to reload even when using slides. Not getting the first perk on the ulti which practically doubles its damage for 1 ability point, getting superior stamina early, and getting silencer + lucky shot before ricochet, which ricochet makes you snowball so fast in ur farming game. For me, i get my sprint + ganking gear then rush for ricochet + unstoppable and then work for more gear after that. i gank + jungle + clear waves + urn nonstop until i get ricochet + unstoppable
Amazing video! For wraith, getting that item that increases your damage if you have a combat shield for me is mandatory, since lvl 2 W gives you a bullet shield.
Alchemical Flask covers the entire Frozen Shelter area. Even if you buy Improved Reach & buff the ultimate, the Flask will still cover the entire area due to heroes' hitboxes taking space in a radius around their centers. With that aside - great video. Keep up with this content! :3
Mystic burst + mystic reach is really good DPS for abrams in late game too when you have your 1 slot ability maxxed out. Can solo multiple heros just with 1 procced
Wouldn't say those builds are much better than "public builds"?... Definetely on some heroes, but Abrams? Abrams here is literally same as top build right now. Lady Geist on the other hand - that build is close to useless? Extra Spirit with her rather bad scaling as earliest 500 souls item, then Surge of Power and Improved Reach on 2?... Improved Reach makes her 1 huge nuke, and surge of power is much better on 3 for extra damage + speed boost every 10 seconds (knives have 3 seconds cooldown on t1, while her 2 has ~30 seconds, reduced to ~25 with cooldown upgrades). Definetely not good idea for pro Overwatch player to give builds for every character, without even learning about their strengths... Just looking at those you can see which characters are his fav

Also I've tried the Shiv build focused on his 2 and it's not good. Even when I'm winning the lane and farming myself fat, I still find myself dying way too quickly to capitalize on the 2's damage cause you just get CC'ed or burst down. It's great on one on ones, but falls short in team battles. The better way to play him is exactly how Valve describes him, a hit and run style capitalizing on the insane range and bleed potential of the daggers.
Imo haze build is kinda meh. I mean it's good, but not at every situation and mostly suited for beginners. Depending on situation you might want to buy ricochet asap, it'll extremely boost ur snowball and you won't be relying so much on getting kills which is sometimes rly hard to do whe enemies playing good. Also late game items aren't that bad, but i won't say silencer > unstoppable. Cause there is trillion ways for enemies to cancell ur ult even when they're silenced. Also titanic mag along with intensified magazine allows you to deal tons of dmg with super rare reloads, like you have 120 bullets per mag that could be recharged in no time with quicksilver reload. The build mostly copied from No1 public build, nothing new, not significantly better. But yeah it's decent for average haze player, but once you get better in game and start to understand what's going on on the map, how to farm faster etc it starts to loosing it's efficiency (esp tesla bullets part, i personally skip tesla in most of the games if i won my lane, ricochet not only allows you to farm faster but also improve ur ultimate allowing you to shred everyone once they're stacked together)
Yep... Most Haze builds push for Tesla Bullets but honestly, they aren't very good on Haze. The damage from Tesla Bullets is negligible, with Ricochet you already farm camps insanely fast, and by the time you would buy it you should already have the firerate to stack fixation quickly without it. Ricochet is just objectively better to rush because it's an insane power-spike for your ult. By the time you get Ricochet you should have you Ult maxed, or be close, which means your ult now can target 2 people instead of 1 and with Ricochet procs on top of that it's GG. A lot of people don't know this, but PSA: TESLA BULLETS DON'T PROC OFF OF HAZE ULT. Ult Build Haze > Brawler / Gun Build Haze
12:55 I dont familiar with other hero but kelvin definitely no need to build any gun item. All the gun item is useless and slow down your build. In late game (after your CD+duration item), your E only has 4s cooldown which means you will use your E mainly in the fight. Building gun item is a waste.
OK, I'm a super noob, but when you say "get these items as you see fit" what does that mean? How do I know which item? Also, ideally, can you just do a "best general build" that is just a list of items to buy without any thinking? I know that's not optimal, but I'm looking for ease of use right now to get use to the game. Thanks!
with haze i buy the regualar duration extender after i get poison because it makes the duration longer sooner so you can get some easy kills that way. and note that spirit increases your ammo on haze so spirit items can replace things and make your ult unkillable
Can highly recommend the McGunnis build. Focuses on your left click. You build damage and lifesteal, by end of game you can 1v6 just by holding left click, it's silly. Melts objectives solo, without wave.
Well tried some of those builds (not all) but they feel pretty bad for the most parts. Did them on heroes i usually play doing good score had the worst game ever on them... Only great thing about those builds are that the presentation is great with spell upgrades and so on... the rest is pretty meh
One general tip for every hero. Buy Monster Rounds. Stop acting like you're hot shit and can CS perfectly. You can't. The item will pay for itself in one creep wave or less, once you've sold it to make room for late game items and will also help you control how the lane pushes.
@mirramig Kills give less than one wave of creeps if you successfully get all of them (280 vs 250). If you deny all 4 of your opponent's creeps, you'll get 420. Killing your opponent can actually LOSE you souls over time because if they miss just two waves of creeps, you're missing out on 280 Souls your minions aren't dropping when they're killed. The only time a kill is worth is 1) when you'll lose absolutely nothing for it, 2) in solo lanes, when you're getting ganked, since everyone who was involved in the kill gets gold, or 3) in duo lanes.

It's a competitive moba. Trying to get optimal builds for given situations is a core aspect. Besides other people finding as meta doesn't mean you need to stick to it if you think something else is better.

I main viscous and I can tell you with 100% absolute certainty that the first 6300 item viscous needs is echo shard.
PSA for Haze: Tesla Bullets and Lucky shot don’t proc from your Ult. If you are building for Ult don’t buy these.

Yup, main focus with Kelvin should be on CD and spell duration. The ice laser is insanely OP late game.
