- Testing out my new Lectron Fuel Systems Carburetor on my new KTM 150 SX at a fun backyard-style motocross track when I caught someone crash out of the corner of my eye. I immediately went over to block of the track and he eventually walked off the track just fine!
The Lectron is a pretty amazing carb. It gave the bike so much usable power/torque down low and it pulls so smoothly into the top end. Combine that with super easy adjustability and not having to worry about swapping jets whenever the temperature changes or you change elevation and this Lectron is incredible! NICE RIDING... the only thing is u should work on charging the corners (not Breaking to early) and a little bit of clutch and shifting work but Keep up with the grind 🏁🏁🏁

Why is that throttle on there the factory one is gone plus that was a good buy just look for that stuff them throttles are so smooth but expensive I bough one for my ox100 and modded it on it’s awesome

Yo I love your video I just got a brand new kx100 2021 and my family tested positive for covid
quick suggestion: practice shifting without the clutch and without backing off the throttle. On a 150, you should be able to go through all the gears without backing off the throttle or using the clutch. On a 4 stroke, it's a bit different, my ktm 450 I can't get to shift from 3rd to 4th without the clutch or backing off the throttle.

Just saying instead of shifting down so much in the corners then shifting up a few gears extremely quick keep it in a higher gear with more revs and feather the clutch coming out of the corner and you will get down the straight way smoother
You need to adjust the suspension.
I'd ride ktm but the price is crazy aspecially on parts

100% yes. Any 2 stroke I own from now on will get a lectron put on it. Smooth strong power from low rpm all the way to the limiter

1:20 I don't ride dirt bikes, can't you get confused and think that's a full throttle big jump and crash?
Most tracks are made by professionals as you can see if you were to full throttle you would still have enough time to make the turns and when you full throttle a jump you can recover by using the front brake which gets you on the ground faster
@@ScottGummels Thanks for the explanation :) but if you full throttle that means you'll land on the straight and at that speed and height wont that make you crash?
@@ohad.5890 It can make you crash, depending if you and the suspension can handle the force or not. Also having turns closely after the jump doesn't mean that the track is built by a non-professional. And using the front brake mid air doesnt help at all getting to the ground earlier. Whiskey-Hotel talking shit. Never use front brake mid air!
@@ScottGummels not the case, almost every single track has jumps you cant go wide open through. In the case of that track that middle straight coming back with the 2 jumps and a turn at the end if you were to clear the double and not let off you would definitely overshoot the turn and land flat which would be quite painful. To answer original question after you ride a track a couple times and get a feel for it you get into the rhythm and know how much throttle and speed to carry at different parts of the track. I can only speak for myself but I'm constantly thinking ahead to set myself up for the next jump. I also usually ride the same lines that I feel are the fastest for me.

You should try to learn brake tapping so when the front end is high it will put u level to the landing but U have gotten way better and smoother
