It is really so exciting to explore this place. It looks peaceful and quiet. You can only hear the sound of cars and motorcycles passing on the street. The structures are not really that tall which is alright. Some houses have bricks as there exteriors. The pink car is so cute. Is that a public transport that can be rented? Walking in the park is relaxing. I love its natural beauty. You can see birds hovering in the sky. Only a few people can be seen walking. I noticed one duck swimming on that manmade lake. The hibiscus flowers are in full bloom. Hope you enjoyed the tour in as much as we enjoyed watching your video. 😊
Hello! Thanks for your comment! This is really a very cozy and nice place! Yes, all of these cars can be rented. You can also take a horse-drawn carriage ride. There are actually a lot of birds in the park. To see them you need to
walk in the late afternoon. During the day, birds hide from the heat.
It is sad how dead Varadero is now. Years back you would walk through Varadero and it would be full of tourists walking and shopping. Now the stores are terrible and sell only a few items, restaurants are dead and the food they serve is very limited.

How much we should pay for a horse ride.
I like Veradero and will return, but NEVER surrender your credit cards to anyone. You will be royally ripped off, or at the very least, overcharged. Leave your credit cards at home. Take US dollars if you can. NEVER exchange them at the airport or on the bus to your resort, or at a bank, but either at your hotel lobby or nearby. You'll be helping the people instead of the government, and you'll get a far better rate than the government will give you. Only exchange say, $50 USD at a time, since you can't later convert extra Cuban pesos back to real money.
