3. Blowing your nose in public is not an issue for Cubans, but you shouldn't do that ANYWHERE in the world . That's disgusting. Worse at the dinner table. Cubans will have a problem with the latter, but won't complain about it. They'll be disgusted with you. 4. Taking pictures of people. If you are a foreigner, there is no issue with taking pictures of Cubans. If you are a Cuban, then there could be a BIG issue with other Cubans as some will think you are spying on them, are police undercover or a "chivato" (a snitch for the government). It is true blowing your nose, burping, and other bodily function sounds used to be seen as rude. Not acknowledging people like when you enter or leave a place for example is also rude. Not helping someone in need or being mean to a child or an elderly person are usually no nos. If someone is overly friendly or touches your arm do not be offended. If they are really loud and gesturing when talking really fast, they are not fighting...they are just being Cuban.
Did you all NOT read what I wrote? It used to be seen as rude you where expected to retreat to a restroom or to the side when blowing your nose. , now nothing at all is rude...everything goes...including showing you know how to spell curse words even when there is no need for them. Blow away...
This young lady is such a delight to watch and listen to. I have many Cuban friends, both in Boston and Miami, FL and I lived in Puerto Rico for 5 years. Many of the customs are the same. People will stop to help someone who is not feeling well and they always help elderly people; everyone lets the disabled and the elderly go to the head of any line, including at the supermarket. In Latin America the elderly/and or disabled (impedidos) are always helped by others. They are very respectful, something you don't find as often in the US (unless they are Latinos!)
I was born and raised in Cuba (Vedado/Havana) till age 21. This is the first time I hear blowing your nose in public is such a big deal. Also driving there is not bad at all although some streets can be in pretty rough shape that is true, but if you buy gas at the "Cupets" (gas stations) no water added, that's just misleading. All I know about that is stories, never happened to me or anyone I know. Drivers in Toronto are way more rude than Cubans haha. Everything else I agree with you. Common sense would do wherever you are in the world. The water issue is #1 for us. Tap water is a big NO in Cuba, personally I wouldn't do beverages that include ice either. Also you stayed 3 blocks away from my house lol
I guess it just depends on your family! I know that for a lot of Cubans it is a big deal. I think that if you are from there, driving is not bad, but for some tourists who are not used to unpaved roads like some of the ones found in Cuba, it can be challenging and scary for them. That's why I don't recommend it for just any tourist. My personal driver has had gas/water sold to him and his friends. So I guess it's just different for everyone! Yes, I forgot to mention the ice in my video even though I had made a note about it! This is good advice and one people don't realize because ice comes from water lol Wow that's cool I was so close to your home! 💙✌️
I didn't hear anything about blowing your nose in public being that rude, and I just came from living in Cuba for 27 years. Just didn't know about it, really. Sometimes you travel somewhere, see something and you think that's the normal thing... It can happen, I guess.
I was just in cuba. Was there for 2 weeks, Varadero, Tarara and Habana.. Cuban locals are one of the most beautiful people on earth.. Especially if you are Mexican, they treat you with so much love and respect... It was truly the best place to visit, and ive traveled globally.. Cuba is #1... .
sorry, but I have been to cuba many times and can see that you are very much a tourista. I have exchanged money everywhere other than the hotels or exchanges, I always received great rates, no problems. Use your common sense and don't pull out thousands of dollars on a dark street. Safer than most anywhere I know of in the US to travel. Blowing your nose in public being a problem, I don't think so, ridiculous. People do it all the time, they use a hankerchief or tissue as you should. Photos, it should be the same courtesy anywhere, ask before you do. It is just being respectful. I always rent a car and I give people rides all the time, have never had any problems and have made a number of good friends by giving people a ride. I have given rides to teachers, doctors, nurses, field hands, people coming back from the dentist and lots of people with their groceries. I gave one fellow a lift to his home town of Playa Giron which was about 40 km out of my way because he was getting married the next day and had gone to get his marriage licence. A wedding gift to him and lots of good stories shared by him. Renting a car is the best way to get to see the country and meet people. Your statements about not renting a car is ridicuous. Fuel prices were less in cuba than here in canada. I never had a problem getting gas. You need to speak some spanish, and you need to have pesos to purchase gas, no credit cards. Most the roads are pretty good, but there are pot holes, driving at night maybe is not such a good idea. You do need to give the cyclists, horses and oxen carts some space. If you have driven in europe, you won't have a problem driving in Cuba. Your advice on being rude..do you really have to tell people. If you are a selfish rude tourista, please stay home. Cuba won't be for you. The people are fantastic. they will help, make you laugh, try their best and just look at the troubles as part of life, but they know that they are living in paradise. The US embargo has caused the island so many problems, I could go on for hours. I would prefer to visit cuba anytime over any other country and I am happy to give them my tourist dollars. Don't be cheap, tip well and enjoy.
first advice is wrong, you can easily change your money with hotel workers and they will pay you much more than bank exchange, just use common sense when doing it, ask about what is the exchange rate you gonna get and when ready to do it just do it together with your friends inside the hotel lobby and everything should be fine, keep in mind that if you go to the bank you'll get about 17CUP for one canadian dollar while on the streets/hotels you get about 80CUP
LOTS Havana hotel have internet and computer to rent ,In fact all local teenager hang outside to catch the FREE WIFI and if you phone brake tons of young tech ready to fix it for peso ,5 dollars or less .

Creo que depende de dónde eres en Cuba. Algunas personas están de acuerdo conmigo y otras no. No recomendaría intercambiar dinero con extraños en la calle en ningún país. Eso no es exclusivo de Cuba. Los cubanos pueden ser muy amables, pero hay estafadores en todo el mundo. What I like about Havana , no Traffic in morning or evening , don't try getting on the I-95 after 4pm going North or 8 AM IN morning going South ,grid lock and stress.
Four years ago I rented a car in Santiago, and I hired a Cuban driver (he was a brother of the lady-of-the-house, casa particular where I stayed). We drove the carretera 20 from Santiago to Pilon, what an experience.!! With wages in Cuba, you can hire a driver very inexpensively. (obviously you have to pay for all his expenses, e.g. separate room in hotel or casa particular, all food, top-up his mobile phone) But that's the best way to enjoy Cuba. Your driver will get holiday he could never afford otherwise, you get to look around while travelling and not worry about driving. And I hope you'll never need it, but if you ever get into any problem with car or whatever, the Cuban driver knows who to call and how to handle it. (remember your Spanish is never as good as his, and he knows local stuff)
Go back, and renounce your foreign passport. You wouldn't last too long. In just a couple of weeks you will be building your own "balsa" to get the hell out.

I landed here due to a comment on Caseys vlog.. fun story, I was in Cuba in 1999 (I'm Canadian), our resort rented a bus and bought 100's of beers for maybe 25 of us. We all got drunk, including the bus driver and went to this party in some close town. Long story short, we put the bus into a ditch and the cops came with their guns drawn. They started yelling at us and pointing their guns. We managed to get one of them to drive the bus back to the resort and he yelled at the hotel manager but left us alone. It was a great time :)

Romina, I've rented cars there about 15 times. Problems? Er, several. One time, I backed into a truck at a gas station and broke a taillight. Insurance covered it. Second time I went up a one way street the wrong way and scraped the tail of a huge camione de vaca. The last one, I gave the keys to the son of the owner of our casa particular. He destroyed it in the middle of the night. I didn't have to pay a cent, but lost 3 days of rental. I could have sent him to jail with an accurate insurance report. Nope. I've driven the length of the country several times. The most in one trip was 5000 km. Boy was the rental guy ever surprised!!

You obviously have never been to Miami or lived in Miami, Florida. Miami Cubans and other Spanish speaking nationalities are well adjusted and adapted to American Social Values. More than 85% speak English fluently. It is nothing like living in CUBA at all whatsoever. You are making a flawed evaluation of what it is to live in a free open society such as Miam People in Miami can move about, speak, photograph, complain about service, etc. and do. Police authorities in Miami and South Florida, in general, are extremely courteous and forgiving unless they are apprehending a criminal suspect. It's called Miami Nice. I do encourage you to visit Cuba and Miami so you can properly ascertain the truths about both places. BTW - The SuperBowl is coming to South Florida, it gets a little pricier during such major events, but South Florida is a wonderful place to live and visit.
One more thing about renting a car. If you are involved in a collision that causes death or injury, you are obliged to stay in the country until the end of the trial that can take several months. I find that taxis are great. You can rent them for half a day on a flat rate. The driver knows where the good gas is, how to go places the tourists don't go and will tell you all about what living in Cuba is really like. Sadly, not every driver speaks more than a few words (no problem) of English but then again it is good to know a few words of Spanish just in case.

I am from Cuba born and raised. Some of this things are true like anything with videos and photos. But some others are just wrong or location specific. Moist tourist just go to Havana and think the rest of the country is the same and is not. Is like going to NYC and thinking Alabama is the same!

That nose blowing etiquette should be practiced worldwide in my opinion. I hate it when I’m eating and someone just up and blows their nose, appetite spoiler for sure. It seems like someone did it every time I ate at the old gig.
I’ve lived in Cuba and everyone blows their nose…it’s better than picking it. The public bus is amazing….you just have to find the bus station, understand when someone is at the office and book it the prior day. Annnnd if you miss the bus or the schedule isn’t suitable, just arrive early in the morning at the Viazul bus station, talk to a Collective taxi driver, and he will pool you with other travellers going your way…it’s often cheaper than the bus.
older generations view it as bad manners. that's how it is in my family. i can understand newer generations not caring about keeping up with those traditions.
Cubans have lots of pet peeves surrounding manners that belie their informal graciousness. Growing up this used to bug me, but now I feel grateful for it when I see what a lack of courtesy and discipline produce in a person and society. I'm glad that you had a fun time in Cuba. 💗
My grandfather came from cuba and he is VERY strict when it comes to manners, in some ways im glad he is like that and i hope one day soon he can go back and visit where he was born

Not changing money on the street? That no longer applies, at the bank you get 25 pesos for one dollar, on the street about 100 pesos. It gets incredibly expensive if you don't exchange money on the street. I've driven thousands of kilometers all over Cuba, the roads are very bad but if you take it easy it's fine, it can be a problem to fill up with gas due to power outages or lack of gas. But petrol is incredibly cheap (if you have changed the money on the street)
The one thing I despise most is eating at a restaurant, and someone blows their nose. It is a disgusting and Despicable thing. And it is also very much an American thing.

If you go to Matanzas there are a lot of great beaches anywhere you stop really! If you'd like a challenge, rent a car, but I'm not up for challenges! Hello Romina, good point about currency, you don't want to end up with pesos instead of CUC!! Water is not a problem in Cuba neither is renting a car it's just expensive but you need to find 'especial' and never never drive at night, or go super slow. For water, you can drink tap water except in Havana. Aqueduct water just does not taste good but it is safe. Agua de Pozo is safe and tastes much better.
That would definitely suck!! Water is an issue for a number of people who have sensitive stomachs or come from a country where the water is very sanitized in comparison because your body hasn’t built up immunities to the bacteria that can be found in the water.
If you want a taste of how bad it is to drive in Cuba, try driving in Miami. Make sure that you're insured, and that your last will and testament are up to date.

Another thing about taking pictures with people on Cuba. The religion of Santeria is very big and apparent in Cuba and to the untrained eye you can’t tell who is a practitioner or not. That being said some people in the religion cannot take pictures for certain reasons which makes this DON’T a little more enforced.

I never had a problem buying water , or can sodas, plenty of Beer and Hard Liquor , in fact , I renta a 2 bedroom kitchen , dinner room all furniture/TV with nice Big bathroom w hot water and AC in the apartment , in a up scale neighborhood near the COHIBA HOTEL $45 A day with my own key and door security watching out for you and get you what you want ,for small tip . One time park the car , let walk to old Havana from Cohiba hotel , best way to learn the city and see all the art gallery and see those beautiful home in'' Vedado'' , a upper class of CUBA . and if your lost get a taxi to take home $10 dollars
The fuel problem is not because they just "want to sale more of it". Fuel is sold by the state, the people who work at fuel stations are state workers with minimum salary. There is a difference in fuel prices for privates and state companies; so private cab drives, or any kind of private driver, always will try to get some cheap fuel from someone that works at a fuel station so... So in order to keep the same volume of liquid in the tanks in a fuel station when doing an illegal fuel sale (stealing basically) the workers will add water to the tanks...

One can get on the double decker bus that travels Cuba from one end to anther. The cost is $10:00 a day and you can get on and off as much as you want. Riding the old cars are costly.
I travel there many times and I go with bearing gifts because they do not have much. But I have never had a problem with the buses in all my travels there. Meet people go there and fall in love with the 1950’s cars that are held together with Toyota and Honda parts.

Her parent's & sister were born in Cuba. She's heard alot about her family in Cuba but, never visited. Literally, she's been all over the world. I've been to Cuba 4 time , I don't dependent on Tour Guild , I go and rent my car sort of expensive in Havana , nothing like Freedom to travel the country , I drove to Santa Clara from Havana then I went to Pina De Rio and went around those Mountain road to vinales also went to La Palm a Beautiful Agriculture , when I need Cuba money I look for the Taxi best deal for your Dollars , I forgot to tell you driving during the day is fine but stay off the road at night , barely any light on the road , lots of Europeans love the mountains of Vinales , Beautiful cave to eat inside and river water flowing down the mountain that you can take a deep . crime and drugs is barely seen but don't flash to much , good luck , I love CUBA .

If you are a Cuban, then there could be a BIG issue with other Cubans as some will think you are spying on them, are police undercover or a "chivato" (a snitch for the government). It is true blowing your nose, burping, and other bodily function sounds used to be seen as rude. Not acknowledging people like when you enter or leave a place for example is also rude. Not helping someone in need or being mean to a child or an elderly person are usually no nos. If someone is overly friendly or touches your arm do not be offended. If they are really loud and gesturing when talking really fast, they are not fighting...they are just being Cuban.

This young lady is such a delight to watch and listen to. I have many Cuban friends, both in Boston and Miami, FL and I lived in Puerto Rico for 5 years. Many of the customs are the same. People will stop to help someone who is not feeling well and they always help elderly people; everyone lets the disabled and the elderly go to the head of any line, including at the supermarket. In Latin America the elderly/and or disabled (impedidos) are always helped by others. They are very respectful, something you don't find as often in the US (unless they are Latinos!)

I was born and raised in Cuba (Vedado/Havana) till age 21. This is the first time I hear blowing your nose in public is such a big deal. Also driving there is not bad at all although some streets can be in pretty rough shape that is true, but if you buy gas at the "Cupets" (gas stations) no water added, that's just misleading. All I know about that is stories, never happened to me or anyone I know. Drivers in Toronto are way more rude than Cubans haha. Everything else I agree with you. Common sense would do wherever you are in the world. The water issue is #1 for us. Tap water is a big NO in Cuba, personally I wouldn't do beverages that include ice either. Also you stayed 3 blocks away from my house lol
I guess it just depends on your family! I know that for a lot of Cubans it is a big deal. I think that if you are from there, driving is not bad, but for some tourists who are not used to unpaved roads like some of the ones found in Cuba, it can be challenging and scary for them. That's why I don't recommend it for just any tourist. My personal driver has had gas/water sold to him and his friends. So I guess it's just different for everyone!

sorry, but I have been to cuba many times and can see that you are very much a tourista. I have exchanged money everywhere other than the hotels or exchanges, I always received great rates, no problems. Use your common sense and don't pull out thousands of dollars on a dark street. Safer than most anywhere I know of in the US to travel. Blowing your nose in public being a problem, I don't think so, ridiculous. People do it all the time, they use a hankerchief or tissue as you should. Photos, it should be the same courtesy anywhere, ask before you do. It is just being respectful. I always rent a car and I give people rides all the time, have never had any problems and have made a number of good friends by giving people a ride. I have given rides to teachers, doctors, nurses, field hands, people coming back from the dentist and lots of people with their groceries. I gave one fellow a lift to his home town of Playa Giron which was about 40 km out of my way because he was getting married the next day and had gone to get his marriage licence. A wedding gift to him and lots of good stories shared by him. Renting a car is the best way to get to see the country and meet people. Your statements about not renting a car is ridicuous. Fuel prices were less in cuba than here in canada. I never had a problem getting gas. You need to speak some spanish, and you need to have pesos to purchase gas, no credit cards. Most the roads are pretty good, but there are pot holes, driving at night maybe is not such a good idea. You do need to give the cyclists, horses and oxen carts some space. If you have driven in europe, you won't have a problem driving in Cuba. Your advice on being rude..do you really have to tell people. If you are a selfish rude tourista, please stay home. Cuba won't be for you. The people are fantastic. they will help, make you laugh, try their best and just look at the troubles as part of life, but they know that they are living in paradise. The US embargo has caused the island so many problems, I could go on for hours. I would prefer to visit cuba anytime over any other country and I am happy to give them my tourist dollars. Don't be cheap, tip well and enjoy.

first advice is wrong, you can easily change your money with hotel workers and they will pay you much more than bank exchange, just use common sense when doing it, ask about what is the exchange rate you gonna get and when ready to do it just do it together with your friends inside the hotel lobby and everything should be fine, keep in mind that if you go to the bank you'll get about 17CUP for one canadian dollar while on the streets/hotels you get about 80CUP

What I like about Havana , no Traffic in morning or evening , don't try getting on the I-95 after 4pm going North or 8 AM IN morning going South ,grid lock and stress.
Four years ago I rented a car in Santiago, and I hired a Cuban driver (he was a brother of the lady-of-the-house, casa particular where I stayed). We drove the carretera 20 from Santiago to Pilon, what an experience.!! With wages in Cuba, you can hire a driver very inexpensively. (obviously you have to pay for all his expenses, e.g. separate room in hotel or casa particular, all food, top-up his mobile phone) But that's the best way to enjoy Cuba. Your driver will get holiday he could never afford otherwise, you get to look around while travelling and not worry about driving. And I hope you'll never need it, but if you ever get into any problem with car or whatever, the Cuban driver knows who to call and how to handle it. (remember your Spanish is never as good as his, and he knows local stuff)

I landed here due to a comment on Caseys vlog.. fun story, I was in Cuba in 1999 (I'm Canadian), our resort rented a bus and bought 100's of beers for maybe 25 of us. We all got drunk, including the bus driver and went to this party in some close town. Long story short, we put the bus into a ditch and the cops came with their guns drawn. They started yelling at us and pointing their guns. We managed to get one of them to drive the bus back to the resort and he yelled at the hotel manager but left us alone. It was a great time :)

Romina, I've rented cars there about 15 times. Problems? Er, several. One time, I backed into a truck at a gas station and broke a taillight. Insurance covered it. Second time I went up a one way street the wrong way and scraped the tail of a huge camione de vaca. The last one, I gave the keys to the son of the owner of our casa particular. He destroyed it in the middle of the night. I didn't have to pay a cent, but lost 3 days of rental. I could have sent him to jail with an accurate insurance report. Nope.
I've driven the length of the country several times. The most in one trip was 5000 km. Boy was the rental guy ever surprised!!

You obviously have never been to Miami or lived in Miami, Florida. Miami Cubans and other Spanish speaking nationalities are well adjusted and adapted to American Social Values. More than 85% speak English fluently. It is nothing like living in CUBA at all whatsoever. You are making a flawed evaluation of what it is to live in a free open society such as Miam People in Miami can move about, speak, photograph, complain about service, etc. and do. Police authorities in Miami and South Florida, in general, are extremely courteous and forgiving unless they are apprehending a criminal suspect. It's called Miami Nice. I do encourage you to visit Cuba and Miami so you can properly ascertain the truths about both places. BTW - The SuperBowl is coming to South Florida, it gets a little pricier during such major events, but South Florida is a wonderful place to live and visit.

One more thing about renting a car. If you are involved in a collision that causes death or injury, you are obliged to stay in the country until the end of the trial that can take several months. I find that taxis are great. You can rent them for half a day on a flat rate. The driver knows where the good gas is, how to go places the tourists don't go and will tell you all about what living in Cuba is really like. Sadly, not every driver speaks more than a few words (no problem) of English but then again it is good to know a few words of Spanish just in case.

I am from Cuba born and raised. Some of this things are true like anything with videos and photos. But some others are just wrong or location specific. Moist tourist just go to Havana and think the rest of the country is the same and is not. Is like going to NYC and thinking Alabama is the same!

That nose blowing etiquette should be practiced worldwide in my opinion. I hate it when I’m eating and someone just up and blows their nose, appetite spoiler for sure. It seems like someone did it every time I ate at the old gig.

I’ve lived in Cuba and everyone blows their nose…it’s better than picking it. The public bus is amazing….you just have to find the bus station, understand when someone is at the office and book it the prior day. Annnnd if you miss the bus or the schedule isn’t suitable, just arrive early in the morning at the Viazul bus station, talk to a Collective taxi driver, and he will pool you with other travellers going your way…it’s often cheaper than the bus.
older generations view it as bad manners. that's how it is in my family. i can understand newer generations not caring about keeping up with those traditions.
Cubans have lots of pet peeves surrounding manners that belie their informal graciousness. Growing up this used to bug me, but now I feel grateful for it when I see what a lack of courtesy and discipline produce in a person and society.

Not changing money on the street? That no longer applies, at the bank you get 25 pesos for one dollar, on the street about 100 pesos. It gets incredibly expensive if you don't exchange money on the street.
I've driven thousands of kilometers all over Cuba, the roads are very bad but if you take it easy it's fine, it can be a problem to fill up with gas due to power outages or lack of gas. But petrol is incredibly cheap (if you have changed the money on the street)
The one thing I despise most is eating at a restaurant, and someone blows their nose. It is a disgusting and Despicable thing. And it is also very much an American thing.

Ya I’m from Cuba, and so far the tap water one is correct. My family tells me not to drink the tap water when i visit.
Hello Romina, good point about currency, you don't want to end up with pesos instead of CUC!! Water is not a problem in Cuba neither is renting a car it's just expensive but you need to find 'especial' and never never drive at night, or go super slow. For water, you can drink tap water except in Havana. Aqueduct water just does not taste good but it is safe. Agua de Pozo is safe and tastes much better.

Water is an issue for a number of people who have sensitive stomachs or come from a country where the water is very sanitized in comparison because your body hasn’t built up immunities to the bacteria that can be found in the water.
If you want a taste of how bad it is to drive in Cuba, try driving in Miami. Make sure that you're insured, and that your last will and testament are up to date.

Another thing about taking pictures with people on Cuba. The religion of Santeria is very big and apparent in Cuba and to the untrained eye you can’t tell who is a practitioner or not. That being said some people in the religion cannot take pictures for certain reasons which makes this DON’T a little more enforced.
You put this out just in time for a group at my university to watch before they leave for Cuba. ☺️ There may only be some that apply, but any bit of advice will be good for them. How helpful is that?

I remember my first time in Cuba woke up hungover af, mouth dryer than a desert no bottled water in site so I chugged back tap water and my stomach instantly turnt had the shits for two weeks
I never had a problem buying water , or can sodas, plenty of Beer and Hard Liquor , in fact , I renta a 2 bedroom kitchen , dinner room all furniture/TV with nice Big bathroom w hot water and AC in the apartment , in a up scale neighborhood near the COHIBA HOTEL $45 A day with my own key and door security watching out for you and get you what you want ,for small tip . One time park the car , let walk to old Havana from Cohiba hotel , best way to learn the city and see all the art gallery and see those beautiful home in'' Vedado'' , a upper class of CUBA . and if your lost get a taxi to take home $10 dollars

The fuel problem is not because they just "want to sale more of it". Fuel is sold by the state, the people who work at fuel stations are state workers with minimum salary. There is a difference in fuel prices for privates and state companies; so private cab drives, or any kind of private driver, always will try to get some cheap fuel from someone that works at a fuel station so... So in order to keep the same volume of liquid in the tanks in a fuel station when doing an illegal fuel sale (stealing basically) the workers will add water to the tanks...

One can get on the double decker bus that travels Cuba from one end to anther. The cost is $10:00 a day and you can get on and off as much as you want. Riding the old cars are costly.
yup. But the buses aren’t always reliable as you can’t get as far as just renting a car with a driver
I travel there many times and I go with bearing gifts because they do not have much. But I have never had a problem with the buses in all my travels there. Meet people go there and fall in love with the 1950’s cars that are held together with Toyota and Honda parts.

I am cuban and blowing your nose have never been disrespectul... about the change money yes tru cuz they dont trust... public tranaportation i dont recomend it ... but this 0lace is the most secure for turist... they love turist and they will take care of you but of course dont be rude for no reason..... love you Cuba 😍😍😍😍

Her parent's & sister were born in Cuba. She's heard alot about her family in Cuba but, never visited. Literally, she's been all over the world. I'm very proud to say that after serving her years, she was Honorably Discharged from the US Amy. She was a specialist. I'd love nothing more than to surprise her with a trip to Cuba and I will! I've been to Cuba 4 time , I don't dependent on Tour Guild , I go and rent my car sort of expensive in Havana , nothing like Freedom to travel the country , I drove to Santa Clara from Havana then I went to Pina De Rio and went around those Mountain road to vinales also went to La Palm a Beautiful Agriculture , when I need Cuba money I look for the Taxi best deal for your Dollars , I forgot to tell you driving during the day is fine but stay off the road at night , barely any light on the road , lots of Europeans love the mountains of Vinales , Beautiful cave to eat inside and river water flowing down the mountain that you can take a deep . crime and drugs is barely seen but don't flash to much , good luck , I love CUBA .

Music is everywhere in Cuba. When you go to any paladar you will probably see some live performers. Once you are there, ask because there’s always something going on
