RIP Wilko. The best act I’ve ever seen.
You can tell by his voice that he wishes things could have been different...
They set the tone for the punk rock era brilliant group of musicians in a great band shame they never made up.
Wish it happened Lee n Wilko would have been fucking magic
What I would have given to have seen the original Feelgood line-up. Gypie Mayo was awesome but Wilko was part of the band's signature.
The Ship is a bloody burger bar now, was a great pub.
I believe Lee wanted to see him when he was dying but Wilko didn't go. If true maybe just too much time had passed, too painful? But sad all the same.
Shame. They were a fabulous team.
But he was not the band's best guitarist,Gypie was far better
Wilco was the soul of dr feelgood no amount of technical ability can replace that .....
Lee died before that reunion happened...large lesson here.
Wonder what his wife and kids were doing in those 36 hours. Wondering where the hell he was?
Bloody women.
