Some of the mobs in open world tbc have CRAZY following distances. I almost think it's bugged I'm talking 4 to 5 times following distance than normal mobs.

It was water elemental that shot him once before the pull. Obviously he was not trying to attack him and pull a pack of mobs at the same time.

When you're AoE farming, the mobs will give up and reset after walking like 40 feet, but god forbid you get low hp or pvp, and suddenly they can run like 200 yards..
