Great video! I did the same thing with my Audix and used the same Gibraltar mount, but I opted for the May Air Hole XLR connector, as I didn't realize that SHU made one. I love it and get compliments all the time from the sound crews.
Two ideas 1 put a slip of double sided foam under the metal plate where you are screwed in. Metal to metal will cause vibration. 2 I put lock tight on my screws for the XLR connector to prevent them coming loose from the vibrations during playing and also movement of the drums from show to show
