@@Nantosuelta check out 7 Seconds, Ignite, Good Riddance, No Fun At All, Dag Nasty (anything except Field Day), or Rise Against. Those are some HC-punk without screaming. Shawn Brown (first singer of Dag Nasty) is more like screaming but he isn't on a lot of their material.
The punk ethos never died. As long as there are young men and women wishing to express themselves and have fun somehow, it’ll come out in all sorts of ways. The biggest thing these days is that the 25-30 year olds in the scene don’t seem to be taking themselves and their music too fucking seriously like previously. People seem to have gotten over themselves, thankfully. I think because we’ve realized EVERY personal passion is cringe on some level.
I love how he opened with billy Joel I’m from Ny my dad played him all the time growing up as a kid. My dads taste in classic rock got me into metal. I respect that opening 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I'm pretty new to this hardcore stuff I had heard of it but never really watched any live stuff by any bands but what I see here is amazing. Really, not only the dancing and carrying on with such crazed enthusiasm but the camaraderie! The fact that these guys are parading and bouncing across each other with such seeming recklessness and with great possibilities for total violence to eruot at any time, yet there is none. It's all super happy- smashing into each other and then hugging. Crushing the one next to you, then slapping each other's backs when they could be punching each other. It's a wonderful thing to see. It's really cool. I would recommend this to anyone
I've never really listened to End It, but I fucking love when hardcore bands use non-hardcore songs live, haha. I used to watch that video of Blacklisted, I think it's from This Is Hardcore, where the set opens with "Bang Bang" by Nancy Sinatra. I just looked for it quickly and couldn't find it. But it opens with all the lights off, they're playing "Bang Bang" over the PA and then George gives a speech about how everyone in the room is looking for the same thing. This band is called Blacklisted.

One time long ago, I went to a 'metal fest' where the second band that played that night was a Marilyn Manson tribute band. This would of been in the Anti-christ superstar days. Those dumb ass fans, and that band, thought that was just so cool to be the anti-christ superstar. The next band that played was a Deicide style band, and you should of seen all the 'Manson fans' flee the club in fear. Some Anti-christ superstars they were.
