Irrespective of any season meghamalai used to be covered by clouds throughout the year.... Hence the name.... This is my all time fav place.. Till ten years back hindusthan Lever comp ironically a British company... Had full control over this place... In fact tourist n photography were completely banned.. There used to b no hotels to stay no restaurant... Only 2 tea stalls... But now tamilnadu govt has undertaken this and started building roads.. There are some resort proposals too.. Since there are less tourist the place is still beautiful without pollution..
Yes I went there on August it was so beautiful place, so cloudy it was freezing there.
Long drive. Unknown place and route. Local Peoples kitta route address kettutu porathu.. Elaneer kudichitu Small shops la snacks vangitu. I too had this type of experience when i visited kutralam thenkasi. Semaya irukum.

Ungalala Meghamalai poitu location share panna mudiyathu because no signal there only BSNL can access. You are right Google Maps shows wrong route. To access Meghamalai take left from chinnamanur go straight. no deviation on that road.
Bro,there are more places to explore in THENI...plz go for all places and feel it ,if u wish to go for trucking then I'll suggest you to go to veerappa ayyanar kovil,which is located in allinagaram.
