We're preppers and we learned a long time ago that the dates on most foods are just a way to get you to throw it out and buy more. Yes, we've eaten food out of cans that are 15, 14, 13, 10, years old. Perfectly good. The one you have to watch is tomato products. They will sometimes burst and make a mess. Basically, if we abandoned our house and left the cans behind, you'd have a tough time figuring it out based on can dates.
I wish I knew where this is,I would like paying the Tax on it and refurbishing it to be my last home on Earth. I would have a New Modular placed there as well as an all Natural water and power collection Center placed there an I know that Irrigation Pipe could hold many gallons of stored water and Power. I am a survivalist and know how to live in the desert. I would love buying that.
It doesn't look long since vacated, I wonder if it's some guy who is on his own, and works away a lot,and is hardly ever off to be there, and that's maybe why it's got so much unfinished work around the whole place ... who knows I guess. Interesting video tho pal. 👍 😎
The clothes look new and the house so clean, my uncle use to do the same thing until he got shot then arrested for trespassing. Be careful, your commiting a lot of crimes.

I see places like that and as a Designer, Artist, Landscaper and Home Renovator l just want to get in and Clean er up...l could make that Trash into Treasure...than as soon as l got done pouring in my Blood, Sweat and Tears...my Time, Talent and Money...had made it practically perfect and was sitting back with a Beer and Cigar enjoying the Fruits of my Labor...is when Some A-hole would pull up and kick me off the Land and Steal my Peace, Pride and Joy! It's not a Compliment...its jealousy, cruelty and Tyranny...just like Spoiled Children...they don't want the Toy til they see someone does! Than they will snatch it back even though they've got a whole pile sitting right next to them...make people Homeless and leave places sittin' empty!

It was strange that the window glass was clean, and there was no evidence of significant dust build-up on the porch or, for that matter, on anything other than the truck dashboard. It does look vacant... especially with a dead rodent in the bathroom. But something seems inconsistent with the place. If only the walls could talk.
I say its some kinda hunting camp or ranch hands occasional overnight place... its a dump but i dont buy that its been abandoned since '08... wood rats would have conpletely destroyed it in that time...

Many times like this, the owner of the property is living in a nursing home or has passed away with no family.
I just left a 40 year old trailer full of all my belongings. I had to move in a hurry!😢it looks like whoever was there died or left quickly too.
