      Great video, as for the sensors maybe try IR reflecting paint instead of the white patch?

    There are too many great things about Charlie's videos to list them all. For me the top one is his humility and openness about mistakes. It's easy to get frustrated with yourself for mistakes but knowing a pro like Charlie also makes them is comforting and fixing is never as painful as the prospect seems. Thank you Charlie!

    • @CharlieDIYte
      @CharlieDIYte  6 місяців тому +2

      Can't thank you enough for that. Yep, I'll always show the mistakes because that's the reality of DIY. I'll get pilloried for them on the other social media channels that I feel obliged to post on but YT is where my proper audience is, and I'll keep it real for as long as you guys appreciate it. Thanks again. It's not easy doing this stuff but I can't tell you how valuable your comments are in incentivising me to keep making the content.👊

    Superb job, Charlie. This project build has been a total triumph. The floor to ceiling wardrobes maximise space & the navy blue shaker style doors are modern yet timeless. So much love, energy & thought has gone into this (not forgetting blood, sweat & tears). Well done! If I want to uber picky, I would have put in a longer inside mirror & a rear view mirror on the inside of the opposite door so you & your other half can see your full outfits front & back & top to toe. Good for your insta photos too but that’s just me! You should be very proud of yourself. Amazing job.

      When you're making things completely from scratch into an odd shaped space, there really is no manual or rule book, particularly if you don't have a totally concise end plan and have done it before and encountered all these problems you need to solve. For me, it's watching Charlie deal with these hurdles, and deal with them in a brilliant way that makes the series and the wardrobes themselves an absolute triumph. Also a great way to train your DIY brain for when you don't have the skill set, tools and huge workshop to bail you out.

    Great job Charlie - what a marathon. Thorough as ever - personally I'm not interested if the details aren't included. It's so much easier to avoid mistakes with the completeness of your explanations. Oh - and the wardrobes don't look too shabby either!

    Absolutely fantastic. a real top job. glad to see you tell us about your mistakes, as most others just edit them out. which just isn't realistic as the best of us always make mistakes.

      Thanks for that. Yes, the mistakes are a crucial part of it, so far as I'm concerned. 👍🏻

    Very nicely put together video. I appreciate the work and commitment gone into both the build and the video editing. And its really refreshing to see someone admit their small mistakes and explain them so that others can learn from it. Easily one of my favourite UA-cam channels.

    Best ironmongery for cupboard doors, kitchencabinets, draawers etc in the world. Being an Austrian company, their name is pronounced 'Bloohm', but I don't think they mind either way as long as you buy their products ;)
    I used when I build a complete kitchen from scratch some 10 years ago. smooth beyond belief.
