- In this video we use a Husqvarna 129LK with the Husqvanra BCA850 brush cutter attachment to clear out some vines, bryers, and a variety of other brush. The 129LK combi-unit is a versitle machine and a good inestment since you will only have to service one powerhead rather than multiple pieces of equipment. The BCA850 brush cutter attachment is great to use for trimming tall decorative grass, reeds, vines, brier bushes, and for clearing out around a tree stand or hunting area for improved range of sight.

Great idea of wearing the chaps when cutting through thorn bushes! Run into that problem every year when we go to clear out in front of a few tree stands.
I highly recommend wearing the harness with these...takes the weight. I also highly recommend the bike handle throttle attachment ...more control and fun!

How heavy it feels?
I would like to have one of these with the brush or paddle attachment for cleaning off the sidewalk or the driveway. Only problem is the price of those attachments.
Yes, those attachments are a bit pricey...…. BUT they're great to use if you do have them.
I just got the 129LK and the BCA850. Was putting it together and noticed that on the shaft of the brush cutter it says "battery product" and shows max 5800 RPM. The 129LK runs at 8000 RPM. Does your BCA850 show the same and have you ever had problems with the higher RPMs? I don't see anything showing a gas version of the BCA850 so think this is the version everyone is using even with gas. I know this is an older video but any insight would be awesome.
I just bought this BCA850 and the second sticker above that one shows like 11,000rpm max for gas units. It also says it in the booklet somewhere and on the blade. I have the 330LK model but it's just like this one. good luck

What is the part number for the brushcutter attachment? My local Husqrvana dealer advised me that the brushcutter blades can only be used with the bike handle brushcutter and not the combi tool because of safety? Now I am confused....
The product number for the brush cutter attachment is 967185901 and the model number for the attachment is BCA850. This is the same brush cutter attachment works with any of the Husqvarna LK series power heads.

Is that trimmer provided from Husqarvarna or is it from another brand?
All the products (power head, brush cutter, trimmer head) are all Husqvarna products

Will the brush cutter attachment easily swap out to other blades like the 'Renegade' at this link? ua-cam.com/video/HVJz7Gqn_SY/v-deo.html I need a blade that will cut a little thicker brush then the video, including clearing and maintaining a 300ft x 25ft wide trail. I noticed that Husqvarna does not mention that the 129LK can be used w/a Brush Blade on their website, but hey do if we buy the more expensive 129R w/handlebars. www.husqvarna.com/us/products/brushcutters/129r/967193302/ But we cannot use attachments with the 129R
