These items are clearly just fast fashion she wholesaled....so I completely agree with the criticism of the disparity between price vs quality.

The items are made of natural fibers like cotton and linen (instead of polyester) so I wouldn't really call it fast fashion.
@@melissavanryn4382 If it's made in sweatshops, it's fast fashion - and those clothes have sweatshop quality. The materials used don't really matter when the people sewing the clothes are still basically treated like slaves.

Line kristiansen yes same, especially with all the fast fashion brand, most people are used to extremely cheap prices, but don't consider the background behind brands like forever 21, primark etc.
not judging anyone tho, I only startet buying fair fashion and second hand a few years ago :)
My biggest annoyance with Aspyn is how heavily she filters her images. The color of the online listing and the actual color of the second dress is so different. I can’t believe more people don’t complain about that.

I feel like a lot of the clothing looked cheap. Even stuff you said felt good quality (not saying you're wrong) still looked cheap, at least on camera. I feel like a lot looked like they were thin and wrinkle-prone. Love the 2-tone jeans - I have a similar pair and love them.

No hate but Aspyn’s clothing line is sad. Literally looks like wholesaled clothing sold at ridiculous high prices. You can find similar pieces with better qualities for cheaper.
It is that lol she goes to warehouse and buys in bulk. A lot of places does this.
Literally, can find such similar pieces at Shein for a fraction of the price!

The photography of the campaign is stunning - but omg it looks nothing like what she’s trying on. Could have cried at the sage green dress, it looked so thick and high quality in the photos..
The model in stock photos also seemed to be wearing a larger size, and Sierra’s seemed tight across the chest and the belt didn’t gather the fabric like the stock photos. I think if she had sized up, we would have liked it better.
And the hymn was messed up! Was I the only one that noticed?!?
If you like the first linen shorts, Old navy has simular ones for like 12 bucks. They're my JAM.
Yup I worked at old navy and those are some of the best staple pieces ( in my opinion). I have like five 😂

is it me or does that green dress look totally different than in the photo? like even despite the wrinkles it looks like a cheap piece from Shein that recreated the piece from the photo and not at all the same dress.

yeah, the one on the website looks like very good quality and looks like quite a thick fabric but when she wore it, it looked like costume fabric, only a tiny bit better quality and a little thicker... not worth it to me 😂

The green dress was a totally different color
Yess she exits the pictures so much and bumps up the saturation so bad!! The models in the pics are literally orange and the color of the clothes look nothing like the real clothes.
I agree! I love Luca+Grae but the editing is very misleading. I’ve had pieces that look so different in real life because of all of the editing.💛
Just a critique for these reviews is that i think a neutral backgeound would be better to show the real colors of the clothing. I feel like the blue distracts and skews the clothing colors

okay so i'm only about 7 minutes in but i honestly am pretty disappointed. it looks like the clothing didn't hold it's shape at all and it looks like a "expectations vs reality". the clothing looks cute on the website and then you try it on and I honestly feel like I am looking at a knock off instead of the real clothing you ordered.

Ross and tjmax isn’t an actual clothing company though. They get shipments in from other clothing companies like Steve Madden, ascis, etc. they just sell the brands for less money.
have you ever been to a ross or tjmax? they sell good brands. Aspyn collection looks like something out of wish or the worst section of shein. Super fast fashion.
I feel like all these clothes you could find on websites like Shein for less than half the price and that's really disappointing 😕. They definitely don't look like they're worth the full price unfortunately. They also look pretty frumpy and grandma-ish and don't show off your curves!!! The only one that does is the weekender jumpsuit and that looked great!
The jeans looked "great" as well, well...maybe not "great" but they looked ok. I'm sure you can find them at H&M or Forever 21 in a smaller size

In the future it would be awesome if you could steam the clothes so they aren't so wrinkled. Honestly all the pieces looked pretty terrible and crappy with all the wrinkles. You were saying that the first dress was the right quality for the price and yet it looked super thin and bad quality. Maybe steaming them could help us get a better idea of the actual piece!

This might be just a my computer thing, but I feel like the try on clips are a little dark? I would love to be able to see the true color and have it be a little brighter!
I noticed the same thing. A lot of the try ons were dark and a little unfocused. I double checked multiple times that my phone was playing at the highest quality, 1080.
Maybe the "dark(er)" background gives the illusion of being draker. But I agree that it was a bit dark and prbably not quite the true colors :/
When I put the quality higher the screen appeared to get lighter

Uh....I am someone who sews quite a bit. The green dress looks messed up to me. The neckline is not straight and the hem goes up more on your left side than it does on the right...ugh. That would drive me insane. I have kind of given up on buying new clothes. I just wear what I have until I find something that looks and feels top notch.

what did you think of the tie dyed set? i've always been told if the shirt rests on your hips, that means it doesn't fit you, and the 1x shirt looks terribly small in the hips for a plus size range

Us pair shaped ladies should have the option to buy the top and bottom separately! I struggle to sweat sets, pj sets, and bikini sets.. This is why jumpsuits are also tricky!

I thought the same! Really doesn't do anything for the clothes. When Sierra gives a 9 I can't get past the fact the lighting makes it look like a 2.
It was her first video filming without makeup, that her lighting was just off because she was trying not to look washed out.

I feel like plus size clothes in general are very “grandma”, and it’s so sad. I’m more on the modest, conservative side of dressing, but I’m 30 and I still want to be stylish in what I wear.

Body positivity is something I’ve struggled with my whole life and I’m at my heaviest I’ve ever been but your strong voice has help me more than you will ever know. I’m more positive about myself than I ever have been and motivated to get healthy for positive reasons ♥️
I wish you would say what material the pieces are made of. Is it cotton, linen, polyester? Those prices are not worth polyester but I'm willing to pay more for clothing made of natural fibers.

All clothing pieces have a tag inside stating the percentages of fabric its made from. I am really curious to see if the "linen" items she tried on are actually made of linen. I doubt it, it could be a blend perhaps. But I agree, it would really be helpful in her reviews. Especially when she's referring to price points.

I love when you describe what body type a piece would be good for (like the jumpsuit you didn’t like for you - it might work for me). Some people would just complain about fit instead of recommend to someone else

I'm pretty sure Lizzie McGuire did wear jeans just like those.
I think part of what makes the clothing look low quality is that Sierra hasn't taken the time to steam or iron out wrinkles before modelling them. It's a disservice to the garments to try the on looking like that.

Sierra! I'd love to see you try Loey Lanes brand, Love AnyBody. They have stretchmark serum and cream, a chaf stick, and chaf cream. I have all 4, and I really like both stretchmark products and the chaf cream especially. The chaffing products have helped my chub rub soooo much!!

Sierra ....this is my second time watching you. I love the fact that you are honest about the reviews and so positive. I love the new look with less makeup on you are pretty and have because skin so you don't have to wear so much makeup. I have bought a few pieces at Luca & Grae and I really like the styles but you were right a lot of the clothing are just over priced for materials they are made out of. But I do like the sweaters they have and also the T-Shirts are not bad. Enjoyed the review thank you.

You said ‘if a person had a similar size waist as me’ but you didn’t say what your waist size is. It would help if you’d say your current measurements (as opposed to size) at the beginning of each try on video to help your viewers out in ordering.
