Akureyri, Iceland, has some intense and steep sand hills and makes it challenging for the drivers to stay on the wheels. It offers a lot of crazy action when the best Formula Off Road drivers from Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland meet!
The cars have from around 800 plus HP and can do some insane climbs with those huge paddle tires!

I went to a rock climbing even in Georgia. needless to say YAWN!!! After seeing Nitro Off Road, We honestly don't have a true offroad comp here. Yeah we have desert races but once again......YAWN! Those Scandinavian men have their sh!t together!!!
How do the teams come about their American V-8 engines?
Is wheel speed good or bad? Its momentom or inertia you’d think so right?
Are there rules that you are not allowed to continue if you flip? Do you have to stop the motor and get towed?
You are not allowed to continue after you roll. But if nothing is broken and engine running properly you can drive off.

This was the drivers first season with this car and it takes some time to get used to.
