I’m sorry for not being able to update the KS blog much as we have been devoting a lot of time to development🙏
Got mine. The Pianoroll/Recording must get some love. It shouldn’t be so hard to edit notes as it is right now. Move notes, chose a step and edit while play is on, chose length, undo etc. Everything should work fast and fun, not need to use the arrow keys so much - use 1-16 pads and the velocity sensitive pads.
Why not use Play + Rec to live record and Rec if I want to step sequence, similar to Elektron workflow? As little shift functions as possible.

@@SONICWARE But if I want to edit a step while the Sequencer is playing? The playhead moves through 1-16 which makes it impossible to edit just one step.
What if the playhead didn’t move through 1-16 while playing the Sequencer? Would make editing just a step 10 times better. And why does one press in Rec mode create a C note? Would be much better if it didn’t create a step and use 1-16 to move between the steps and create a note if you want to by using the velocity pads.
I believe that a lot of little things like this would improve the workflow.

Another thing that come to mind is using A, B, C, D more on Home screen. And Copy/move/delete Clips/Scenes should be avaible directly from the Home screen.
If I have nothing sequenced on a instrumental track, it would be nice to have the velocity pads or one pad for preview when I change FX. Ideal would be to always (on every screen) have the velocitypads avaible for playing the notes/drums/samples depending on what Track you are on. To change to Scenesmode on Homescreen, you could have a Func function or use A, B, C, D somehow.
I wish when you press for example Mixerpad, pressing it again will take you back to the previous screen, not need to press CLR. For a faster workflow. Perhaps even a momentary function if you hold for example Mixerpad, when you release you go back to the previous screen.
@@SONICWARE I understand that I can edit notes while playing with arrowkey and CLR/OK pad, but that is a very slow workflow.

Is there a function to restrict the notes in an instrument track to different scales?
SmplTrek has a function to set the keyboard (pads) scale.

I'm really interested in this but please... Can you design it with USB C instead of micro USB? Everything made now should have USB C so maybe something for you to consider :)

i would take USB C over size any day! Micro USB is the past
@@SONICWARE I understand but I'm just always affraid to break a micro usb connection... Had it several times on phones in the past, usb c was just a better option imo. But understand why you did it 🙂 great product though
and USB c is now standard for most consumer electronics bu european rules...
