Fantastic video again Pete. Some really lovely quality bows around from our Chinese friends now for reasonable price. My go to bow that I shoot so well and it has a smooth draw, is fast and likes heavy arrows that go where I look, is my Bear Super Kodiak. However, I recently bought a Win and Win Black Elk ILF riser and married it up with some lovely bamboo and carbon limbs from Topoint Archery. It's a gorgeous fast shooting, smooth bow that only cost just over $400. It's fast and loves light arrows that shoot very fast. That's a great price for here in Australia, because our poor exchange rate and long way for postage makes archery stuff very expensive. My Bear bow was over double the price at around $900. I have two lovely bows to shoot now that compliment each other and make is so much fun on the range. Yes Pete, please do a video with the chrono - I like your videos and find them very interesting and fun. The long videos are much better than the short clips shot in portrait mode.

It is always a great treat to watch you shoot, Peter. You need not prove to non-fools that there is no trickery. :)

First time seeing your channel. Nice review, and of course we want to see a speed test. Lol... I have 2 Sanlida Royal X8 Recurves, the Hermit X10, which i have to add his little brother the Hermit X8 to the collection now. China makes some pretty good cheap bows. I know there are some that may say dont buy a bow from China. But not everyone has a grand to drop on a Hoyt or something.

Speed test! speed test! speed test! ha. 40 pounds is a great weight to have fun shooting and lethal enough for deer hunting with a good arrow system set up. Do most new recurves shoot fast flight type strings? My bows are 1960's and 70's models and only rated for dacron type strings. Shoot 560ish grain arrows in the 130's fps.

I believe it’s only the classic Bear Grizzly that are still made only for dacron. I’m gonna make a speed test of this bow next week

Speed testing would be great as this is bamboo fiberglass limbs. Be great to compare an expensive carbon foam limbs vs this bamboo fiberglass limb. A great video looks like a great shooting bow and the grip must fit your hand well?

I would like to know a fast limb that I can purchase to keep my gaps small out to 30 yards? My samick discovery carbon foam seems fine . My bosen longbow limbs just fiberglass foam limbs are pretty good . I have bamboo fiberglass junxing longbow limbs on my 17 inch das bow and these limbs hit low on the target every time. Is there a limb that you're really impressed with? Thank you
