Can't go wrong with the meal as a whole. I grew up eating these and still do. U can always save stuff for later. The pb&j is enough for me for a meal. The bread is very filling. We have good meals in our US MRE's !!!
Probably honey would be a better choice. When I worked doing plumbing I made peanut butter and honey sandwiches a lot. The honey crystallizes instead of making the sandwich soggy. The shelf live for honey must be a descent amount of time.
Man I really wanna try the beef stew now, luckily I’m getting Ration Pack-A which has beef stew. When I get older my dream is to be a Navy Seal, so I’ll be able to have it then a lot more. Ty for sharing!

Watch your speech and try to eliminate the "ah's" and "um's". You also have the tendency to repeatedly use the word, "but" when you don't need to do so. These speech defects show uncertainty. If I can pick these up easily, so can everyone else.
Just 200 KCal of stew, the rest ist just high carb stuff like white bread, sugary drinks and sweet stuff. Nothing which keeps you fed for a long time. Total disappointment.

I just got this menu. It's a bit different. Has a multigrain bread and vanilla pound cake..
We had a bad flood over here and the national guard I believe has sent MRE boxes to us. I ate this and it was pretty good!
It was a good day whenever I got the beef stew. I also loved the chilly with bean.
I wouldn’t say they are getting too old. I’ve eaten some from 2011 recently. Not a thing was wrong with them.
Old might not be the right word, but in terms of the way the military sees them they would be falling out of spec haha
I beg to differ. I once had cheese from a chili MRE that was so hard I couldn't even soften it up

Asked my buddy in the army for a few mre’s and he gave me 2 boxes of the 1-24 menu. Told me to let him know what I think cause he hates em 😂
