Growing up him and Rivaldo were my favourites. I would watch La Liga and Deportivo to see him. He introduced a lot of these skills to Europe and used to be criticised by many, but also passionately adored by a few who still remember his genius.
In real life I can't remember seeing this guy before now, how ever hands up to him, those are the days when football game was fun and excitement, football game is for entertaining now kmt, is like track an field, Ronaldinho bring it back, now only the name of the game 😢😢😢😂
Djalmijha was the greatest player that never was. Mercurial talent - zero application, low ambition. Came from such poverty that once he joined deportivo & started getting paid huge wages, partied hard & drank & ate heavily, fell out of love with football & had incredible discipline issues. Irrueta was manager of deportivo at the time and had just sold Rivaldo to Barcelona, he brought in Djalminha to replace Rivaldo. But ended up having to stick with an ageing Bebeto because Djalminha wouldn’t turn up to training sessions, ignore team tactics, be drunk half the times he played. He was an absolute nightmare to coach. So sad because the last clip is against Real Madrid - the best team in the world. Deportivo won that match & Roy Makaay scored shortly after this clip. The greatest player there ever could have been had he had the right attitude. Made Ronaldinho look like Harry Maguire.
djalminha never went to a world cup with brazil because brazil was too stacked at 1994 1998 and 2002, they hit the 3 finals and won 1994 (romario) 2002 (ronaldo)
at this time, brazils attacking options were; Bebeto, Juninho, Denilson, Sonny Anderson, Elber, Jardel, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Romario, Ze Roberto, leonardo and more. They could have put 4 teams in the World Cup and had an all brazil semi finals 😂
That year deportivo almost win LALIGA(always won by madrid and barca) and won 1 next year…this team its now in 4th division…the fall of…but those 2 years …wow
@@rapperodebarrioLeonardo generally considered an ac Milan legend but yeah I think he worked as a director of football at psg after retiring; but yes same guy
he is Ronaldinho's idol
Djalminha é provavelmente um dos maiores jogadores brasileiros, ele mal é conhecido
Write him down always gets me 😂
5:09 That wasn't outta bounds, the full shape of the ball must be out the line in order to be called outta bounds "same thing goes for the goal line"

That Barbosa channel is so fire. Best videos for football videos
@5:33 it's called a "panenka", that way of executing a penalty kick; after the name of the czechoslovak player, if I'm not mistaken, who first did it.
panenka é o caralho o bagulho é cavadinha

Great times when Brazil could leave this guy out and still win a World Cup.
