Love Gogglebox of old, I'm afraid it's lost its charm. Some of the chats are now clearly set up, and not natural or organic. Plus the commentary is now not as open and honest, as allot of the personalities are just that, famous personalities. It's more an issue with producers and editors, freshen it up Channel 4. Let it stay organic, cos it's such a good show.
Not gonna say who but there's also a few additional people added to the new googlebox seasons that's I'm not much of a fan of. I just keep rewatching older episodes.
That’s probably because everyone on TV now days has to follow the current fashionable “fad” and “trend” of being all politically correct and non offensive….it’s a bugger really now it has lost the plot and those on it cannot speak freely.

None of gogglebox is scripted if that’s what you mean

I’m currently visiting England with my wife, who was born and raised here, from the states and I’m absolutely obsessed with this show especially these two. They really are the greatest gift tv has ever given me. Gonna visit them in ‘ull. (How’s my accent) 😂
