I really starting to see how unique each persons journey is. I'm just glad I have you guys for support bc it is not an easy journey. Thank you so much!
I can in certain areas lol...I just found a gym with childcare so I'll be able to join the gym soon. I think that will really help. Thanks for the encouragement!
Glad you came back! My worst month was month 2... I got very discouraged. I'm losing more now at 16 weeks out than I was then! Hang in there and focus on water and protein first!
Just know that it gets better....and yes this is a journey so the wait will come off. I'm just now able to get about 900 calories. Keep moving forward and don't give up. You can do it. Happy New Years!!! Can u walk in your neighborhood?
I agree with sbb40 on the carbs. Personally, I keep my carbs under 50g/day. I keep my calories around 950-1000. I have seen many not lose because their calories are too LOW. I started with 650 and worked up to 900 week by week. If I need extra calories, I will go for something more high fat like nuts verses carbs. Higher fat doesn't seem to make a difference like carbs will. And WATER! Not enough water will slow weight loss. Hope that helps. Glad you are back and Happy New Year!! :) Deb
I have become a label reading freak and take forever to shop sometimes because I'm looking at the carbs and protein. It's hard to keep it under 50g carbs a day...I have gone over that several times this week. We will see if it matters on the scale. It's a lot of trial and error to figure out what works best for you to get optimum weight loss. Sometimes we just go through slow periods.
I'm not preaching, but leave those carbs alone, no rice, no pasta. Have you tried fish? Crabs? Even though you may not have lost as much weight that you would've liked, I'm sure your losing inches. I hope that helps. I wish you a Happy New Year!

It's alot harder than I expected to cut back on my carbs. They're in everything!! Ugh...I did much better this week though. Thanks for the advice!
