Another fantastic video buddy, clear concise, makes perfect sense and Joey keeps me laughing all the way through. I have improved some much at this game since following you it is unbelievable. I now ask the right questions when a highlight against me appears and have begun to realise the importance of having the right player in the right role, I still struggle with scoring goals but feel that part is very close to clicking for me. As for team I'd like to see you use next how about..... my local - Wycombe Wanderers! Thank you for the video buddy.
@@gfujigo hey buddy, to answer your question, before I'd be at the mercy of highlights. They'd appear an I'd watch them an keep watching until either they scored or make random changes out of frustration. Now they appear and I ask "What side are they on?", "Is there a pattern?" "Are they attacking the same player all the time?" "Why have that decided to attacked that specific space/area?". I've learnt that their is a logic to the game and now I try to figure out that logic rather than being at its mercy. Hope that helped, take care bud.
Mate I just used the Forest tactic with my Newcastle side (2022) against Real Madrid in the Europa League. I changed the Left Winger to a AP/ATT but got him to hold position and I won 5-1. Callum Wilson got a 2nd half hat trick and we restricted Real to 2 shots at goal. The goals came from everywhere, Passes from deep, RB running in on goal and through balls from the AP it was beautiful to watch.
Playing a similar system but 2 defensive midfielders, an anchor man and a dlp. I had to pull the forward line back because their was too much space between defense and attacking. The formation not my 1st choice but had to adapt when a high potential player came available on the transfer market. Please do a video on asymmetric formations, whenever I tried to get my best 11 on the pitch, it can only be an asymmetric system and the results are so poor. Lack of goals and opportunities created. I know I don't have the fast full back to attack the space but the rest of the team have great vision, passing determination and decision making. I have a champion league team which got to the uefa Cup final and when I play my best 11 asymmetric, I struggle big time against lower table teams. The system is 4 2 1 2 1. Anchor man and dlp, a roaming playmaker/mezzala attacking midfielder/advanced playmaker, inside forward and advanced/pressing forward
How about RSC Anderlecht from Belgium? Now managed by Vincent Kompany and strugling IRL. Would love to see your take on a tactic with this young, but talented squad. All the best!
I would really like to see what you would do with Anderlecht. Most of their best players are natural in the DMC/MC/AMC positions. I would be curious to see what's possible with a narrow formation.
In the latest career I started I am using a 4-2-3-1 ow. However I ecounter the same problem as other careers: tons of crosses resulting in corners because the wingers/ullbacks kick it against the defenders... Early crosses are not. Is it a ME thing?
It is a bit of an me thing which I think they are going to try and fix. Most times a defender will try not to let a cross in and give up a corner. So I guess it’s a tough fix
I'm playing as Arsenal with a 4-2-2-2 Wide formation. I got rid of Ozil (it's amazing how art imitates life). I tried with 4-3-3DM and 4-2-3-1 but didn't get any good results. However, the 4-2-2-2 is doing very well. So, I would love to see how you would handle Arsenal. Also, do you try to get your teams to use different tactics? EG 4-3-3DM when facing an aggressive better team or to counter their AMC player and a 4-2-3-1 when you want to take the game to the opponent that doesn't use a DM?
It may actually drop him deeper than I'd like. The further back he drops the less useful he becomes for the transition. Then it really only leaves the RPM as the viable outlet.
So I'm playing with leeds.. Bought a gang of 17/18/19 year olds and the late goals, early second half goals against me is crazy the concentration aspect is crucial!! I'm scoring though. But that conceding bs is driving me crazy!
Arsenal would be nice! Get them to Premier League contenders! Also i think they have a pretty average squad and i am curious how you can handle the team tactics and instructions!
I so wish i had daljit around when i play FM am wanting to play it but am not great when it comes to tactics myself and again am a united fan i have players in mind who i would buy and sell for the team but its the ins and out that i find difficult to manage like backroom staff managing the budget setting the training sessions etc that sounds complicating so it makes me not want to play it because id know i get it wrong get frustrated with the game and not play it after that so this is helpful daljit excellent job as always your a better coach than me lol but id rather have someone like daljit next to me when i play it so he can give me pointers along the way to what am doing wrong because doing it yourself when your a noobie to it all is a difficult job to do
Leave training to your AM until you get your head around it. I usually let my AM do trading but add/remove specific sessions where I feel necessary. In the mean time there's plenty of good videos on how to set up training and all those other things you mention. Again leave it all to your AM and/or Director of Football until you feel comfortable having a go yourself.
@@timeandmoney84 thanks for the tips am the same on fifa too yes there different games of course but its having a tactic/style in mind that i want to play theres so many different formations its hard to choose what fits the team am playing am not that tactically minded if you like i just copy from youtube and stick with that where rather id try and create my own but get overwhelmed on the many options there is and then when i do choose one and kind of got the instructions right i find it tough to keep track on whats working or whats not with the players/instructions because ill give you an example someone has told me before thats hes style you stick with one style /formation if you like and go from there i dont know if that works for both games so
Like others have said, treat the game like a few small challenges, deal with each one individually before moving on. You can leave training to the assistant manager, just add match preparation activities before big games.
Daljit. Your like a cheat mode. No question the tactical master of fm. Love your work. Can't watch your F*rest save though mate as a Notts County fan 😉
It ain’t the mentality alone that will help you play possession football but how you have set up roles and duties to support each other to move the ball around
Hey there big brother ... Greetings from Zimbabwe. Huge huge fan... So I am currently managing Chelsea but eish!!! 4231 is my formation... Full backs, Cm (s) Dlp(D) ,T (Mount) , Timo IW, Pulisc IF and Abraham PF(s) .... Just failing to click, defeats like right and centre lol... Please help
Didn’t really look at United with this video more your Forest team. United don’t use a Wide Target Man. Normally like your stuff but disappointed with this video I’m afraid.
@@BusttheNet yes you spoke about that system for about 2min by my calculation. You spoke about Utd in general 4 mins and that was just about Harry Maguire. Like I said normally I like your videos but this was disappointing. Never mind
Top material as always! How about 3-5-2 formations and Inter Milan??

Welcome to the party!!!!!!!
I obviously love your tactical videos and knowledge but your intros are brilliant too!!!
I've been watching your videos for hours now. Thanks
Thank you very much!
Southampton 442 would be nice to look at

Great video !!!! Id love to see you...again explaining 442...i mean i suck at this!
Aston Villa 4-4-1-1 would be a good video!!
I think RB Leipzig are a cool adaptable team to use 👍🏻
Maybe do Ajax team next? Loving the contents. Keep it up!!! 👍

All the best!
For the forest tactic do u have instructions on AF IF IWB AND CM
No
Is there any reason why you don't use the split block in most of he tactic you've created this year?
I still use it for my own tactics, for these shows i want to make it simpler for people to understand so i go without them.
I would really like to see what you would do with Anderlecht. Most of their best players are natural in the DMC/MC/AMC positions. I would be curious to see what's possible with a narrow formation.

@@ivancheng7650yeah mentals are so important in the game atm
The Ajax ‘18/‘19 4-2-3-1 tactic
I second the vote for a Hertha Berlin focus
Southampton 4-4-2 would be awesome, or as i would call it 4-2-4 with 2 DMs 😁
Thanks for great tactics lesson and advices! How would you play with Fiorentina ? I took this team and I'm not very happy with my tacticals choices.
Partizan Belgrade for next formation :)
The intros are getting better 😂
Fenerbahçe 442 or 424 maybe

+1 for Arsenal.
Chelsea would be lovely :-)
West Ham ⚒.. Moyes having a fantastic season 🙌🏼 #COYI
What's your thoughts on using a wide playmaker? Ramdueter the way to go?
Wide playmaker can work, it would be the same principle, but this time he could be paired with a mez

is a regista, central mdfielder on defend and central midfield on support and a false 9 a good combination?

can you make video about throw-ins pls
Is it a problem to set a mezzala on move into channels on the same side and an IF or IW who likes to move into channels or one who sits narrower?

whenever I play this system my AMC player always plays poorly no matter what role i give him or how good that player is...

The great thing about 4231 is its simplicity... its probably the only system my simple brain can understand how to work.🤣
Brighton please
Southampton’s 442
What tactic would you recommend for the 4-3-3 DM? Loving the work you are doing keep it up.
Also I would like to see what you would do for Derby County.
What position does the wtm mark ?
If I am not mistaken the fullback on his flank
How about 3223 DM WIDE.
442 with Juve. Go italian
