I’m glad I still have some old scrapbook papers that the craft stores don’t carry anymore. Sometimes I find them at the thrift stores. Your papers are beautiful and really go nicely with the vintage ephemera.

Diane: you have a wonderful collection of this & that for these theme journals. You have certainly done some very creative pages. I especially liked that black triangular one with the fashion gal on it. Simple& Stunning! Carol from California

What a lovely pocket made from the front of a paper pad. 🥰 These covers and journal within will be so pretty and unique. It has to be so discouraging to spend so much time making a video just to have to delete it. Like any work, I suppose. Good days and $#?! days.

I’m sorry the technical side of making videos is being difficult. Don’t worry about abrupt endings or any of that stuff, we appreciate all you do in sharing your creative process. I think it’s awesome that you’ve learned how to edit videos. So sweet of your grandson to spend time with you teaching you. 😊
    Love the journals! ❤

Love these journals Diane 🎉 Your vintage images are just the best. I've got a few old dress patterns from my sister but the oldest one is 1974...nothing like yours but i still love it❤The one pattern in particular was one her and i used to make dresses for my mother. She was a very short lady with a size 4 shoe. She only liked the one pattern and we made her dresses all the same but in different fabrics.😂❤❤

I love 1970s patterns, too! (My teen and young adult era!) It was wonderful that you and your sister could make clothes for your mother!

Good morning Diane!☕️ So nice to have my morning coffee with you. That isn't fun when you have issues with the video. I use my phone for recording as well and I'm just wondering if you would set your phone up, opposite direction would you still have to flip it? I had that issue as well then my son showed me to start the video upright then turn it side ways and mount to your stand then my videos are the right way. I use Youcut pro video app for editing. These journals are coming together beautifully ❤ I'm amazed at how many journals you make in a year, I made one gratitude journal for full year journaling, I was pretty proud of myself 😅 I love watching your process from start to finish with your journaling making. Just wondering what did you use to bind your 2 sides together? What is it called and where can I buy it? I'm guessing you use however width for binding the sides together depending on how many signatures you want to add? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm still learning all the things about journal making 😊

I think you are asking about the tyvek? I buy it from Amazon, and I put a link in the description of this video. ask as many questions as you need to!! I'm glad to know that you start your day with coffee and me!

@DianeHubertPrettyPinkCottage yes, that's right ✅️ thank you, Diane. I usually watch your videos before bed, I find them very relaxing and sometimes with my morning coffee ☕️
I'm behind on watching all of them, as I create videos for my channel as well, I can't always keep up, but truly enjoy them, you are one of my 3 top favorite crafts channels to watch ❤️

Love these! Where did you get the scrapbook paper from? I think you mentioned Park Lane from Joann’s but I couldn’t find it on the website 😊

It’s called Heirloom. By parklane at Joann. 180 sheets. It says printed cardstock, but it’s a thinner paper. Not real thin, just the right weight for journal pages.

Too bad about the hiccups in recording/editing. I figured you were having an off day with the editing. No big deal.
Still loving these journals! The ephemera is gorgeous!
