The Epic Conclusion Of The Last Kingdom In Afghanistan@UsmanMK-0909

100s of years the Kingdom of Afghanistan ended in 1973 and the last King of Afghanistan was Mohammad Zahir Shah.
Zahir Shah ruled the country for 40 years and he became King when he was only 19 years old in 1933 after the death of his father Mohammad Nadir Shah.
Zahir Shah studied in France after his initial education in Kabul and after becoming the King his vision was to modernise the country mainly the city of Kabul (the capital) but the other cities in Afghanistan remained undeveloped throughout his time as a King of the country but the majority in the public was still happy with his government.
He went to Italy in 1973 where he remained in exile for 29 years then Afghanistan went through war and the majority of people in Afghanistan missed him during the terrible time then people called for his return back to the country.
He was warmly welcomed by the majority of the public when he returned back to Afghanistan in 2002 then he later received the title of the father of the nation as well by the Loya Jirga.
Zahir Shah died in 2007 and was buried in Kabul.
