Awesome video, it is a real treat to see Jack in street, since then it easier to grasp his level, which by the way is insane. I would love to see You, Jack and Charlie Rolls in one street video.
Yes please! Also where in the world is bigshot Danny Mac XD... but other than them, do you know any riders with african/asian/middle eastern/south american roots that would like the exposure?
Fabio Wibmer, Danny Macaskill, Duncan Shaw, Tomomi Nishikubo, Yuki Kishi, John Langlois, Gabriel Wibmer, Laurenz Konradi, Fabian Dankl, The Useless Trials and so on🙏
Scotland is trials country, I always assume people to be appreciative and supportive of trials athletes like Ali there. You can see it in the videos sometimes but this was a rather enthusiastic outburst of support. xD
Many trials riders do things that seem they “shouldn't be possible” - but Jack Carthy looks like he can just completely switch off or modify the rules of physics at will.
Jack is great and so are you Ali! Please never underrate yourself. As a 45 year old man I desire to have half your skills, and I have just ordered my first #inspired 24 flow plus! Super stoked and nervous about the work to make joy on this bike. Stay awesome Ali!
What really adds to it - besides the mad slills - it the quietness of it. No motors no noisy surroundings, just concentration and focus... thnx 4 sharing.
jack, "your turn ali". ali, "i'll see what i can do" jack just slow rolls over the section.... cracking vid lads. jack really does take it to the next level and then some.
both of you are sick rider. Don't sell yourself short Ali. You have very different styles, but that makes you no worse than him. Personally I enjoy your riding style for what it is, not for you sidehop record or gapping distance
Love how you and Jack get on! Always a treat to see you two ride together. When I saw the thumbnail clips roll I thought it was you on your comp bike and couldn't believe how much you had changed your tune on rolling the bars forwards haha.
@1:42 wait... was that a warm up lap!? Edit after watching the whole video: I feel like we need a Jack Carthy street trials edit withing the next 2 years... Also i feel like one of the main differences if someone is doing a sport for so long at a high level is consistency. Just looking at how consistent he brings out those quite big moves is insane. I got a similar feeling when i first started watching Tom Cardy's videos when he was riding with Sam Pilgrim. Obviously both inredible riders, doing things on their bikes i don't even dare to dream about. But that consistency Sam has in bringing those tricks is incredible. Tom is getting more and more consistent, which is very visible when you go back to older videos and compare it to his riding now. Another example where it was visible for me was Warner Nickerson. Former Pro-Alpine skier who did this series "kicking it with a badass". When he was skiing with someone like Alexis Pinturault, Mikaela Shiffrin, Alice Robinson or Dave Ryding it was obvious how incredibly consistent they bring those turns compared to Warner.
14:15 the only moment you can assume Jack is a trial rider like all of us. Hesitating before breaking running into a personal brain barrier called sanity.
Great video Ali. Looking forward to see part 2. Oh btw, if you could ride together with Danny Mcskill that would be awesome. And also there is a Japanase rider Tomomi that maybe someday we could see you riding together. Cheers mate and well done!
Have been building some some trials lines on weird angled trees for few years, but since my skills are not anywhere near this level have to make lines easier, then wait for ground to harden up, but still have some lines that will never be ridden except from better rider? But still feel that could make a good edit?
is there any kind of regulation with regards to stem length, angle, bar..etc..his stem is so far forward that it has to influence reach, leverage..etc.. (obviously means diddly squat if you can't do 1% of what he does, but in the hand of a super skill rider)... Also, pretty crazy to se teh flex he puts on his fork when he hooks his front wheels and load it to get up on an obstacle, totally rad
I love riding trails hard and hitting steep techy descents but none of that kind of riding is quite as incredible to watch as talented trials riders! Anyone know of any coaching for this kind of riding in north west England?
My MTS come this morning just got I bet them in tomorrow imagine Jack doing a GMBN in progression session kid this is how to jump a 7 foot Wall with no ramp i'd like to see a video with Danny and Duncan whenever that will be possible
The disc brake systems have flex… as the braking is closer to the middle of the wheel, compared to rim brakes.. in a 20” trials bike the spokes are shorter so it’s not so pronounced.
He looks sooo casual when hooking onto stuff, it's like he doesn't even have to try. 😂 Is a comp bike much easier to hook than a street trials bike? The position of his bars surely plays a part, doesn't it?
Ali I have a question so I’m getting a trials bike and I don’t know what tire size I need I’m 5.3 ft and I’m coming off a 29inch mtb thanks if can help also I love ur vids great job 😃
@@dominico3737 i have carbon bars, i like them for the vibration damping, but im still skeptical. Yes carbon is wwwwwwaaaay stronger, but one nick or dent in it and its compromised

Flipp! His talent is majorly underestimated, I never knew the stuff he does would be possible without brakes.
I wish Jack or you rode my cheapo Decathlon ST100 just to demonstrate what's possible on it haha
Crazy stuff guys. Game of Bike between Jack and Charlie would be the video of the year 👌😁
The level of riding there is insane. Trials has most definitely progressed over the years. Fair play, that was awesome, Ali 👌🏻
The people’s reaction at 5:33 is so heart warming haha. Great riding from you guys, awesome vid as always Ali!

bike has 2 wheels, only use 1 at a time to save wear and tear, smart thinking.
This is mind blowing stuff!

Im truly in awe, He is really at the top! Keep pulling Next level stuffs casually.
He's just on another level... you know that someone is very good when it looks effortless and smooth.
It was great to see you today Ali and thanks for stopping for a chat was great 👍
Just blown away how good that was, that was skill. Thanks to both of you.
woooow! how did I even missed that masterpiece? you both guys are fabulous!
Wow! That's insane, I can't comprehend what I'm seeing 😱 looking forward to part 2 :)
Utterly insane riding. Huge lines but smooth as silk. The way his back tire sticks to everything is like magic. Great vid Ali!
Jack never fails to impress.
More exposure to comp riders can only be a good thing!
Looking forward to tomorrow 😉
Excited for part 2! That hook up the sculpture was so impressive.
INSANE. So much control... now I want to learn trials.

Jack. You are a bike ninja of the finest kind !!! Epic dude
17:03 I literally thought he was jumping on the roof of that van 😲😂
That is just crazy stuff. Jack seems to have more style than other comp riders I have seen.(I am not a trials expert) Loved this!
I love the way he makes the 7 foot hook then straight after at 6:33 steps over a 16" wall
Nice to see you guys end I love watching you ride bikes I cent learn many things 😀🔥🔥
Jack Carthy 😱😱. Well done for bringing him up to your patch.

So good seeing that level of riding in my local area. Great video.
Undoubly him again,truly eyes-opener.
making the most of a sunny day in scotland with the world champ! good stuff Ali!
Nice, loving the collabs with Jack. Looking forward to see you both on the street bike and maybe both on the comp bike also!

Total class from Jack , we need more Ali C clips mixed in as well, you're too good to just film.
We need you and Jack with the comp bikes!!
so much skill and pure trials awesomeness in one vid. i need more of it, sooo good... 👌🔥😀
Amazing riding I’m blown away! 🤯
People passing by have no idea who they crossed paths with. The legend
Incredible riding. Great idea for some episodes Ali!
Fair play..that was nuts and humbling!
Sick 🤘🏼
Would like to see you ride with Sam Pilgrim. Not a trial guy all the way but will sure be a cool vid!
Awesome. Makes it look so easy.
Another brilliant video.
Incredible skills!
Jack is insane, there's no other way to describe it 🤯
great video Ali.
amazing level
Good content. Power and grace there.
Some serious exposure in this vid. Insane...!
Awesome footage. I love the style of Ali and it is fun to see what Jack can do. @Ali - Would it be possible to do a ride/video with Flipp?
Hope to get to see you some point in Glasgow 👍
-The fear? Is that what you mean?

Great video nice job

Still a really good watch!
Absolut madness 🤯
@1:26 Jack hangs out to talk with only one foot on the ground as to make the most of his dab.
..I could watch him forever..
Wow that was so good. 👍
Those are some sticky rim brakes. I expected disks for that stopping strength.
Rim brakes for ultimate power (leverage). Discs for modulation and not being so noisy :-)
@Josh Tomczyk I'm guessing hydraulic rim brakes, but couldn't see clearly in the video
What's crazy to me is how much Jack can seemingly do on the first try.
Jack of all trials. Nice :)
Think you could get Damon Watson in a future video?
Great riding!! But that stem!!! HAHAHAHA.. But amazing riding!!!
nice one for Ali for the hookof!
Could you please make a video trying street trials on a bmx
I always wanted to know, how do your headset bearings hold up when doing all those hooks etc? They must wear out quicker than normal?
I highly doubt they go thru more abuse than your average mountain bike headset
Forks are the bottleneck usually.
I love riding trails hard and hitting steep techy descents but none of that kind of riding is quite as incredible to watch as talented trials riders! Anyone know of any coaching for this kind of riding in north west England?
Look for John Evans Cycle Coaching
Go hang out in Blackpool?
Amazing.
This shows Jack spends his 19hrs out of 24hrs over his bike, he is super smooth on his bike.
I can't balance that well standing on the ground, forget about 8 feet in the air.
My MTS come this morning just got I bet them in tomorrow imagine Jack doing a GMBN in progression session kid this is how to jump a 7 foot Wall with no ramp i'd like to see a video with Danny and Duncan whenever that will be possible
Question here: What is the the Benefit of using a rim break over a disc break? Noticed that most of the comp bikes have one. 🤔
The disc brake systems have flex… as the braking is closer to the middle of the wheel, compared to rim brakes.. in a 20” trials bike the spokes are shorter so it’s not so pronounced.

Its way easier to hook with a comp bike, but harder to get it off the ground especially with jacks bar setup
He's riding all this stuff so easy!
Unbelievable 😳 WOW
Jack Carthy is super human!
Unbelievable!
How on Earth does jack ride with those grips?!!
it's like he's riding on another planet with way less gravity
Ali I have a question so I’m getting a trials bike and I don’t know what tire size I need I’m 5.3 ft and I’m coming off a 29inch mtb thanks if can help also I love ur vids great job 😃

No I meant I ride a 29er it’s a bike wheel size for just trail bikes lol i don’t ride a trials bike with 29inch wheels
