- Let me introduce the PSP, which stands for the Pro Switch Panel, crafted by high-end sim racing hardware company Precision Sim Engineering. Their website boldly claims this is "a revolutionary new sim racing accessory that puts precision control at your fingertips. Many sim racers, including myself, already have a device that looks quite similar - the Stream Deck by Elgato. However, there's a distinct difference - it wasn't specifically designed for sim racing. I'll compare the PSP to using both a regular button box and the popular Stream Deck for use with sim racing. Is the PSP the game-changer we've all been eagerly awaiting, or could it potentially just be an expensive button box?

Really in depth. Hard to beat the functionality of the stream deck but this is great if you just want a button box. Great video!

Been loving every second of the PSP I've had it since launch and what a great button box. The unboxing was just as nice as my Simtrecs and the stickers are the best I've seen on the market. Glad you bought one.

@@mannyfresh7065 I'm not sure, everytime they restock they sell out so quick, but it's best to reach out to PSE directly and check. They are usually speedy to reply to emails.

I have all both, a PSP and a Streamdeck XL. LOVE them both. The PSP looks amazing, feels amazing, and the two 7-way funky switches are perfect since my Porsche wheel doesn't have one. I also found that using the Streamdeck for Simhub dash commands is glitchy and doesn't work well. I used to have my Streamdeck assigned to A, B, C, D, screen left, Screen right, and first screen for the Dashes, but it would act like I pushed the button 10 times . Very glitchy. So, I moved my dash controls to my PSP and it works perfectly.
Great review been waiting for this to compare and make my final decision to purchase this or a stream deck. Im still leaning towards stream deck as i think it offers flexibility of changing the buttons between sims and vehicles. With pro switch i am kind of committed once i place a sticker on the button.

So glad my OCD took hold could not make up my mind on wheels for weeks. GSI ran a nice black fri deal on Hyper P1 and I pounced. 1 day want that VPGT but the dollar to Brit Pound is a killer as we speak. Next add on for me has to be 1 of these 3 items thanks for the in depth review on these. Sim racing is a joy to the heart and mind and agonizing pain to the bank account and walllet lmao. 😊

Heyho. I own the PSP now for almost 2 months and built my own profile from the prebuilt one which is fine for now but i really dont understand the codes to use from telemetry. So i was waiting 2 months now for creative people to create profiles but i really cant find any.
As there is no precisionsimeng discord i wos wondering where to have a look ?

Sorry, you can find it in the Stream Deck plugin store. It’s called Audio Switcher, or something like that shouldn’t be too hard to find.

Hi, found this video very interesting as I am currently trying to decide between the PSP and the Streamdeck, something I really want to achieve is the ability to be able to make an app visible pver iRacing to be able to make and adjustment if necessary. For example: if I have forgotten to add something to an overlay and I am in the middle of a race, at the moment I need to alt+tab and then select Racelabb for it to become visible over iRacing, which is a pain as you can imagine and it displays the open apps window on the centre screen blocking my view. Is it possible to map a button to be able to do this?
I think this would probably work best with a Streamdeck based on what your describing in order to assign hotkeys shouldn't be an issue.
How did you map your headphone button on Stream deck?
Its a plugin in stream deck search for volume control or input controller?
Can this be used for any driving game other than racing?

Just got my PSP today and I don't have such a nice flickering animation when I start up the engine. Shouldn't this be included with the standard profile?
I also couldn't find any custom user profiles on google to look how they do some settings to figure it out myself.
Would be much appreciated if anybody could help me out here :)

I like the info,… really. But do you watch them as well. You repeat yourself so manny times. Often even 3-4 times. I can only watch in 2x speed. But again thx for the info.

PSP "maybe" a registered trade mark by Sony. So I would be very careful if I were Precision Sim Engineering.

Same, trying to like the product, but for the price I would much rather have a stream deck. Its insane that advanced sim racing has it listed for 489.99$
