While watching this, I looked at my husband and said, "Everyone needs a grandma Lolly." His reply was, "That needs to be the next Fab Rats T-shirt." I couldn't agree more!!! Let's make it happen!!!😊
Genius!!
Totally agree!!!
I really like how Hunter has become so much more a part of the channel. I love seeing him learn and be more than just a cameraman. He's a good kid.
We agree! He’s awesome!
It's cool to see him go from br being a being a boy at beginnin. Now Paul,Ben and Shawn guide my through course of becoming a man. Memories he will use to form and shape him on his journey. This is biggest reason we need fathers and role models. Makes stronger men .
Hunter is AWESOME
@@FabRats a little tip for those rubber window seals like on the back window. put a small rope or cable in the groove. then when held in place 1 person slowly pull the cable end moving the rubber lip over the edge so it can seal. we do this with large bus and semi windows making the install real easy. also you should weld a mesh into the rollbar to prevent a snapped winch cable come shooting trough the window.
I’m liking Shaun’s commentary. He’s come a long way being on camera. Keep up the good work guys!
And he’s polite, naming Hunter before himself. Most UA-camrs you hear say “Me and…”. Don’t know if it’s ego, bad manners or just don’t know better.
I concur
I'm 6'2" the fact that Jace could literally jump over me and not even come close to touching. Is just mind blowing!! Congrats on first place Jace. Amazing accomplishment.
Love seeing Grandma be so supportive of Sean and Hunter with the window. It really shows that her sarcastic coments and random fingers are sent with love. Lol. She's the best.
Sean and Hunter are the Batman and Robin of the Fab Rats team and they're making things move forward on the Rat Back to completion. Congrats to Jace for doing a great job at the Track Meets! Always nice that Grandma Lolly keeps a keen eye on them boys to make sure they're doing things right! Good video!
I really like how Shawn and Hunter work together. You fellas make a good team.
Love seeing grandma around the shop, love seeing the boys doing their stuff, love seeing the shop antics. Just goes to show, it’s not just a “UA-cam community” it’s truly a family around here. Thanks!
Your ac box is 90 degrees off, it has to lay flat. Your evaporator is going to drain to your fans and not out the drains. I just installed the same one in my 49 truck.
That is the intercooler and nothing to do with the AC that runs vertically behind the grill.
@@Crewsy Pretty sure he's talking about the inside part which contains the evaporator. The outside part, up front behind the grill, is the condenser.
@@Crewsyhe's talking about the unit inside. That's why he's talking about condensation and the fan.
15:17 Stroopwafels is a dutch word and it is in english Syrup waffles.
And the word Goudse means the place they are made is in Gouda.
A Dutch city south of Amsterdam, where the world famous cheese is also made.
The waffles are a very common snack in The Netherlands.
So damn good!
As a Dutchman i am here to give you a earnest warning. Stay. Away. From. The. Stroopwafels. They are very addictive...
Send me some!
I like to have them with my morning coffee
Place it on the cup rim over freshly brewed coffee and let the heat and moisture soften it (but take it off before it gets soggy)
That's a little too worldly for this crowd. 😁
I really like how Hunter is really getting into the builds and helping do the work and make them look better. He’s a keeper.
Sean also has really blossomed on the channel and was a great addition. Another “Keeper”.
Congrats to Jace!
Absolutely..👍🏻
Great job, Jace!
Much respect to Michelle and Paul, I believe parenting is not done better by anyone anywhere. You two are definitely at the top of the game!
Hunter, Hunter, Hunter! I think you add so much to this channel! You have come a LONG way since you started. No longer just the camera man, which is very important. But DUDE! As a retired eye doc, you need to listen to my advice. You NEVER use a wire wheel on an angle grinder without eye protection! AND gloves. Keep up the good work.
I installed a side glass in a car years ago and all I had to do was was spray soap on the rubber trim and put a string inside the trim and then push against the glass as pulled the string and it went right in place.
If you think the Stroopwafel is good cold you should try them heated up. They're large enough that you can put them over a cup of hot coffee or tea and let them warm that way. The other option is to heat them in a skillet.
if you need suction cups just got to your local big box (lowes etc) they make a suction cup grab handle for handicap showers,.
Thanks for another great video to start my Sunday. Subscribed way back in the early covid times and can't believe you are almost at 600k. Channel has really evolved, and you definitely have the perfect team of talent and personalities in place. Congrats, and thank you for sharing.
Hunter, the suction cup holders are ideal for window installation but here’s a trick for you that has worked for me in the past. Take a couple sections of rope and duct tape the ends, HEAVILY, to the window and use the loops in between as handles. Remove tape and clean windows and you’re done!
thats the idea works ever time
I've used a couple cell phone window mounts in a pinch...
Hunter, those Stroopwafels are the best, aren't they?! I grew up in Holland where they come from, live in Canada now, and my four kids and 3 grandchildren go crazy for them, just like me! You gotta try poffertjes next! Thanks for the awesome content. Family friendly shows are few and far between, and your channel is one of the best!
duct tape is terrible to use cause it leave behind a nasty residue thats hard to get clean. painters tape is more ideal.
Excellent video! Jace is faster than green apples through a goose!
Good Sean and Hunter keep up the good work,
Sean Hunter and Paul are great.. pay them guys enough to stay, and I bet this channel gets huge
Hunter stroopwafels are a Dutch cookie.
Lay it on a cup off tea coffee hot chocolate ore cup of hot water it makes it caramel soft.
That’s it even better.
Greetings from the Netherlands
Sean's excitement is killing me!
Fabrats has a great team. Love to watch and learn. Great family values and always nice and fun. Thanks
Nice to see Hunter in front of the camera! Jace killed it on the track!
Great job Hunter and Sean on the back window , door seals etc. congrats Jason on your High jump Finish. The truck , It’s comin along 🤙😎
use a tread inside the trim and pull out the seal as you push on the window to install
Pro tip: When installing small hoses like that use silicone grease inside of the end of the hose. Silicone won't degrade the rubber, act as a lubricant to install, and later to uninstall. It also helps form a seal while in place/use. Must be low pressure like cooling system and adequately clamped.
Jace did really well, so did Hunter and Shaun, huge look of relief when that glass went in and didn't break.
That's the day I stopped by to get some merch. It was nice to meet and talk to Hunter, Shawn(?) and Grandma Lolly.
Outstanding job by Jace, Shaun and Hunter. All working hard.
Congrats to Jace on medals and kudos to Paul & Michele for supporting Jace at Regionals.👍
When putting on coolant hoses, I like to take a tiny bit of Sil-Glyde on my small finger, then lightly coat the inside end of the hose to lubricate it. The hose slips on easily. The best part is that they also come off easily, even years later.
Outstanding Performance Jace (CONGRATULATIONS) Mom Cheering You On is Motivation Booster
Hey Paul We kept a 👁 on the the Rat 🐀 Pack ,I think they did a great job 👍
Thanx for sharing 👌
Appreciate your Time and Videos
Have a Great Day 👍
If you’re a coffee or tea drinker, if you use the stroopwafel to cover the top of your cup it will warm it and make the caramel inside all warm and melty. I believe that’s how they’re intended to be eaten.
A dutch treat it is. Indeed the heat penetrating from the bottom up! Rgds from the Netherlands. Enjoy Stroopwafels!
I think you are supposed to put the weather strip on the glass first, then, using a string in the outside groove, you pull the weather strip over the lip of the cab opening. A little dish detergent helps lubricate the rubber so it slides into place more easily.
Another Great Video Thx Team FabRats Shawn and Hunter.
Great job, guys. Nice to see grandma ❤. Michelle and Paul, love how you support your kids. Thank you for another great video 😊
Technically we're all window critics Hunter 😁 , watching through our magic window devices 🤣😂👌 congrats to Jace for making the podium every time 💪💪💪
Shawn and Hunter did a great job ! Grandma Lolly gave them a hard time. It was awesome! Awesome job at the track meet 👏 Thanks for sharing 👍
@3:54 I love the kid crossing the track during the race
Thank you . Great job to your son ,pretty proud you must be for your kids taking part in sports and different activities . You both keep up with the great work , Michelle and Paul you have a great bunch of people that surround you two. Oh yea the truck is coming along just fine
Think Grandma Lolli has adopted Hunter, that you did good from her was just to sweet.❤
Grandma lolly is a true shop forman!!Hunter is becoming a real wrenchman!!
Piece of string around the window is how we did the older vehicles. Wrap the seal on the window, string around the window, push against can and pull the string inward or out depending and it pulls the seal onto the cab. Not sure if it would work here but wanted to share.
Really like Sean's work and Hunter is doing very well.
Jace is a hell of an athlete. Good job man and keep training, you’re gonna get that high jump record cause you were right there on the edge of it already. Also Paul is an awesome dad to be there coaching the team like that
Great job Sean and Hunter!! You guys are doing an excellent job!! Congrats to Jace for his track abilities. My short butt was never fast enough for track. LOL!!!
The growth of this channel has come a long way! It's become a favorite of many UA-camrs, including myself. I look forward to seeing all of your videos each week! Sean has been a great asset since joining Fab Rats, and Hunter has become a needed asset also! Catch you on the next. ✌️ 😊
Congratulations Chase 😮!!! May I mention nice workmanship Shawn & Hunter “Perfecto” shoutout to Grams for keeping an eye on those two 👀🇺🇸
Seriously boys, you've come a long way! Hunter is resourceful and knows complex words/parts like "Condenser" and Sean is starting to warm up to the camera! Darn Nice job guys!
Window install , put gasket on glass , rope in grove push window into place then pull gasket lip over metal lip by pulling rope around .
Then install lock trim in grove .
Hunter and Sean, you did a fantastic job together, especially with that back window !!! Greetings from Australia
Hunter has definitely graduated from being just camera-man to competent and willing mechanic!
15:15 Stroopwafels. Good stuff. I didn't expect to see them.
HAVENT YOU HEARD OF THE STRING METHOD,YOU WRAP A STRING AROUND THE GASKET,HOLD THE WINDOW WITH GASKET AGAINST THE OPENING ,PULL ON THE STRING AND THE GASKET GOES IN WITH THE GLASS.
Hunter, the Stroopwaffels are meant to be laid on top of a cup of coffee or tea and softened by the steam. Then you enjoy them together. 😁😁
Two words... Safety glasses.
Especially with a wire wheel...
Love you guys, and would hate to see someone injured.
Yep, having pulled a stray wire bristle out of my skin, I imagine it would have gone a lot deeper into my eye. 😮
Jace, you did a great job and didn't give up. I too took the high jump record my junior year and broke that again my senior year. Loved it! Held the record for 8 years before someone else took it. I love Track and Field. Wasn't any good at any other sports, so the coach put in T&F. Of course it probably was because I stood 6' 6" too. Hang in there. You're a chip off the old block, and your dad has taught you a lot about fabrication to boot. I don't think I've seen anything that Paul has failed to get done. Keep on keeping on.
Sean and Hunter did good putting that back window in with some help from a UA-cam video. Now on to other things to fix. Good job at the track meet Jace.
Good morning I like how you can multitask and include garage footage along with Track footage. Jace did really well
So Incredibly proud of Jace!...Great job Bud!
Like Matt (Diesel Creek) always says: "Remember: I have no idea what I'm doin'. So wish us luck!" 😁😁😁
15:12 'Stroopwafels' from Gouda, Gouda is a place in South-Holland. Common sweet snack at the morning coffee.
Sunday funday. I'm just going fishing and relaxing today, but first, I've gotta give my favorite channel a watch.
Trick I use for Windows is installing rubber then lubing it and running a 12-14 gauge wire around the rubber with slack twisted together as a handle to pull rubber into frame as u pull it off
I was thinking that also like where's the foam window cleaning stuff I'm surprised they got it in without breaking anything with the foam it can slide
Should do more flammable product testing! Love Sean's enthusiasm and Hunter doing a lot more than slinging a camara.
Thank you Paul and crew for the update on how things are going there in Utah !
Sean & Hunter are a Great Team 👍🏼
Great Job Jace 👍🏼
Great show, Shawn and Hunter...congrats Jace.
Rat Back is looking very good.
Another good Sunday morning relaxing and watching you guys build stuff.
Congratulations Sean and Hunter. Nice job on the window and door seals.
I about crapped my pants watching Hunter use a wire wheel brush with only safety squints lol. Those little bristles are no joke getting in your eyes!
Well done guys while the boss is away. You got the job done! You guys have our full support! 😅
Good morning from Siesta Key Florida
Got a heater in the truck
and I don't give a cluck
cause we off to the rodeo!
Haha great to see that the Dutch Stroopwafels are favorite to Hunter! The are originally from the city Gouda in the Netherlands, that’s why the called “Goudse Stroopwafels”.
As always a fun episode! Keep on the good work folks, kind regards from the Netherlands!
If you use a string be sure it won't cut the rubber. I use a soft synthetic cord about the size of clothes line. The best lube is hand cleaner, obviously non grit, be sure to lube the string.
5:06 I didn’t get a close look at the seal, but I think that’s one of the type that parachord works well on. I got anxiety watching you 😂😂😂
If it had a lock strip it shouldn’t be a rope in
@@michaelcarslay959 I was thinking the rope around inside the seal and just pulling it to get the seal over the glass too but I didn't know about the clips. Learning new things every day✓
If you use glass cleaner on the seal as a lubricant the seal and lacing go in much easier.
Look up the string method of installing rubber mounted windows, it works great, that is how we install helicopter windows.
Congratulations to you on your rewards
Put a cord inside the window seal. As you pull the cord out from under the window, the rubber will grab the edge of the window and seal the glass.
We need a fabrats family reunion wheeling trip. Bring ben and randle plus others back
Next time you do a rear glass put the gasket on the glass wrap a string in the track hold in place pull the string and it will pop in everytime easy
Congrats, Jace! Well done!
Good job to all. Ratback is getting closer. Think should get cleaned and satin clear coat. Too damn cool to paint or let rust
When you mess with glass and gaskets, use lots of glass cleaner to keep things wet.
Makes everything more slickery and easy clean up!
Glass cleaner has alcohol which evaporates too quick. Use soapy water spay bottle.
When breaking the window is the only option, and sometimes it is, cover both sides of the window with packing tape before you break it. And don’t forget eye protection.
Congratulations Jace, way to go!
The shop looks so clean! It’s nice!!🙌🏼🙌🏼
Good Sunday morning, Fab Rats crew. Thanks for the video
Great job guys. Thank you 😊
Hunter you are supposed to put those waffels, Stroop wafels, on a mug of coffee so it can warm and melt the syrup :)
Great going Jace! Eat clean and stay off the sodas to be ready at finals. Your a great athlete. Remember that and tell yourself that! Pulling for you from Arizona.
Y’all rocked that out.
I love Grandma's dog!
Good job cleaning the door before the weather stripping. But always wear safety glasses using a wire wheel. Those wires always fly off and could cause blindness.
Thank you for another great video. Thank you for taking us along to Jace's track & field meeting.
You said "I know there will be window critics," and there will be, but I hope you guys will ignore the keyboard jockey trolls and keep making great content. Your fans outnumber the trolls, I promise!
Good Sunday morning to everyone ✝️ and thanks Paul for the video and the wrenching 🔧 🔨 🪛 🛠️ Remember everyone having Jesus Christ in your heart and life is the the answer ✝️🙏💪
Answer to *what?*
It's better to have questions that can't be answered, than answers that can't be questioned.
Hunter, those are Dutch golden syrup waffles. You should put them on a hot cup of coffee or tea to slightly warm them first.
How can you not subscribe to Fab Rats. Awesome entertainment and these guys are sooooo real
