#MarkoPalikko it's easy, Freddie was The Queen, he gave the name, draw the logo and make his own style song, without him you can call the band as you want but, no more Queen.
Bryan and Roger are now tryin to give the illusion that they count the same as Freddie when he was alive when this isn't obviusly the truth.
Now, if you look at the things more accurate you can see how easy can be for someone to became famous with Freddie's voice, if they get him as lead singer he can try to write somethin and eventually have "fame and fortune" and put the shadow on the other.
Adam Lambert are completely different and haven't the "same" powerfull voice, in fact are the tribute singer but no more, they don't have any risk.

Singing live Bohemian Rhapsody is one of the hardest things I know. I admire Mr. Marc Martel, he is a perfect singer and is really on the highest level of people who can sing Freddie so much. Perfect marvelous, bravo bravo bravo

Because they're in a theatre Marc does not need to project his voice out like Freddie would at an outside concert with 10,000+ of an audience. Thus Marc sound's just like Freddie in the studio since the speakers can project his voice loudly indoors.

Honestly, you're right! Part of the reason why he sounds so much like Freddie (aside from his amazing musical skill) is that he shares similar physical features to Freddie such jaw and head structure. This gives him a very similar resonance cavity to Freddie which is why he sounds so much like him. If Marc and Freddie were brass instruments, they would look almost identical in size, shape, etc! Lambert sounds more like a small wind instrument like a clarinet or something xD

Freddie was a beautiful beautiful man. Yes he sounds like him but absolutely not the same charisma at all
