  • Hi guys Frank here with Build Your Own and in this video, we're going to be replacing the radiator drain plug on my 1994 Chevrolet c1500. For what it’s worth I have the 4.3L V6, but this part also works on the V8 model OBS trucks.

    I thought i had blown my radiator in my 93 z1 but ran across this video and realized the sealing cap had blown off the drain plug. Saved me from buying a new radiator. Replacement drain was less than 8 bucks, saved hundreds. Thanks for such a great video

    I'm sure my plug is messed up. But it's draining out of the tube by the plug.. will it be fixed if I get a new plug or do I have another problem.

    What shop manual do you have? And where can they be purchased?

    • @BuildYourOwn
      @BuildYourOwn  Рік тому +1

      Those are the official service manuals, the complete set in mint condition. Purchased on eBay. I think I paid about $150. Well worth it if you're serious about these trucks

      I agree with u buddy. Pisses me off when they don’t list the part number. All they have to do is zoom in on the part for a couple seconds
