I JUST had this convo with my husband last week! i talked about needing equity in his own goals in dreams that he wants and expects out of me that i always keep talking about. which is the opposite for him. He's been talking the talk but not walking the walk. i had to factually point out the things ive done that's tangible for him to actually see and point out in order for him to actually get it. and he did! I had to pitch it from a partnership point of view to boost eachother in our journey together for our hopes and dreams. thank you for this reassurance that i was right in talking about it!

Andre, I have wanted to start a UA-cam channel for years. Specifically lifestyle, family, working (outside of the home) mom style. My husband is also so supportive and he makes my “sales job” so easy. My question for you is, what things did you say or do when Angie was first starting out to encourage her. Whether that be her getting on camera with her team, or filming a video for UA-cam. I feel like I’m typically a confident person, however when it comes to pulling out a camera and filming myself speaking I crumble. I can tell he wants to help and boost me up, he just doesn’t know what to say. As always, thank you guys for always being so motivating. ❤

Clear communication and involving the one(s) you love is crucial and I think a significant part of our accomplishments - both in motivation and accomplishment. This topic it’s so important when you share your life with someone! In my case my loved husband has been my support on every aspect in our life , been married 27 years now, I guess when one of our Partners is getting behind, we have to try (do) and help him/her to find the way or motivate her/him to feel successful , (not just money ) feeling happy every day sharing life together, getting through all bad moments that life’s coming with it.

I am VERY excited for this topic because something I have been struggling with is balancing all of my goal setting with my family. My husband is my #1 & I want to make sure I am honoring him while also pursuing my goals
I was a single momma before, after my divorce I became very independent and the kids were my world. I am remarried and it is so hard to learn to share my goals and passions with him and know he’s there to support me. I continue to reset and remember I need to communicate and trust. This daily grind was tough love for me…I will get better at this with my hubby. I am going back to my goals, adding notes, and communicating.

That's the one part of my marriage that I'm personally struggling with. Not that he's not supportive but he's hardly ever open to change but will constantly moan about negative things. I find it incredibly frustrating and it can be tough at times to stay positive and keep lifting us both up. It was such a good session today and I love how Andre said about aligning words with actions, this is going to be my way to encourage my husband to change too. People that don't understand me 'bending' in a different way (I returned to school at age 46, and back doing the Beachbody and have a different and focused avenue) and the questions, sarcasm, etc I was getting from a 'friend' of over 20 years, well notice I said was getting because she had to go from my life. I even sent her the links to the DGP and videos for inspiration for her.

I, unfortunately, grew out of my marriage. It was the hardest decision to end my marriage, but I know that it no longer was a good thing for either one of us. He did not want to grow with me, but I know that as I evolve and become stronger....that's when I will become my true self.
I had a lot of takeaways from this conversation, but most of all, that my spouse wants to see me happy and that my words should match my actions (because there's no hiding from someone that you live with 😂).

Andre, would you be willing to share your work journey? Angie mentioned you were in corporate before, and the job was decent and was pretty good pay; but you switched gears and started working for yourself and with Angie. It would be interesting to hear things from your point of view and how you went about weighing the pros and cons and then how you pulled the trigger to change your journey. Can't wait to see you guys tomorrow!!!
