I love these Gentlemen's Yachts, the classic lines never get bored. Quality and style never goes out of fashion. I find myself turning away from my first loves, Pershing and Mangusta, and finding the full displacement yachts much more appealing. Could be the age thing 🙂When I started watching I was thinking Feadship or Benetti but found myself blown away to read it was Costruzioni Navali Tigullio Castagnola. Learning all the time from your productions.
I feel the same way. I’m not in a big hurry and want to take my time to the next destination (and the final destination as well). I’m loving the classics like Blue De Nimes and others that have that classic and warm interior with an exterior that doesn’t scream “high tech”.
Lovely boat. The best photography of any yacht channel. Slava does an amazing job. There is this Englishman who keeps getting into frame. What Slava has to deal with. Still, I have two lottery tickets.

Fantastic yacht. I love how they did not cover the steel ribs on the main deck. The interior is fantastic. I love the fact that it is bright and airy. The team deck also looks lighter than normal. She was obviously loved by the owner. Wrong made a 92 footer that had both fins and the gyro. They did a live feed from it and the captain said it makes the cruising so much better. Funny how the owner sleeps in cabin on lower deck, must make the VIP that sleeps on main deck feel extra special! The owner definitely took the saying, “keep it simple stupid”, to heart with this one and this yacht is more the better for it.
This is the best raised pilothouse layout I've seen. Truly impressive.
David, every once in awhile you come across a yacht that says "buy me" you will not regret it and I will take wonderful care of you and your family. L'INSTANT IV is just such a yacht, she is simple yet elegant and well suited for family and crew. Thank you for introducing her!

That is a proper boat, scuppers on the deck, showsits built for dealing with some heavy seas and the 5000nm range , Its a very nice Explorer.
I'd like a sailboat, but this is the first time in a long time I've watched your videos about a motor yacht and said "Oh, I'd have that." It's got the range to go wherever, and it looks like a BOAT, not like an apartment block on floats.

Wow that is a gorgeous yacht. And the fact that it is simple , robust, and built for long range cruising with family or friends or ever as a charter vessel, that is what makes it so good. Love the hard top on the flybridge. My question is , how much would this yacht cost every year to keep it in good shape?

Rolls Royce did some development work for Mann recently ...they developed a retrofitable kit that added more power and most notably added 30% more fuel efficiency . You can see what im thinking. Who wouldnt consider nearly a third better efficiency.
Very elegant vessel and mercifully devoid of high gloss surface finishes. Great interior spaces... this is a world cruiser and home for most latitudes.
My first trip would be. Hop scotch across pacific San Diego and summer in Tasmania. As a new owner if it was my boat. I wouldn’t fly to Tassie on a Gulf Stream.

I don't know enough about sound engineering to say what but there was something I didn't love about the sound on this video. Could be you getting over a cold, or just a different lav mic. I even rewatched sections to try and figure out if you lost your audio and were doing AVR at your desk, but saw nothing conclusive. I may not know how to diagnose the difference but the sound didn't quite pop like I'm used to seeing in your videos.
Still a nice boat and for all I know the sound difference may have been intentional. 🤷♂
Great looking yacht. The bridge is too enclosed. The boat should have a steering station in the flybridge or at the stern.
Maybe I missed it but what is the Hull made of. I thought I heard steal and aluminum above. Also who was the originall shipyard that built her? With a draft that deep she usually has to have a steel hull. What is the top speed 13 knots? I'm an interested buyer

I share your like of in-line shafts. But it looks like that yacht has V-Drives. That could be a draw back.
What is the determining factor as to if a yacht can be owner operated? Is it just what you think you can handle as an individual, could you do it with this yacht, or is there a classification that you have to meet as far as regulatory standards?
You can operate your boat if it is for private use. However some insurers and some ports limit that to 100 feet without captains licence.

This one is for sure built for exploring and cruising. But not really a lot of good deck space, sun deck space.
The quality is fantastic, But the tenders are taking up the upper rear of this boat…… not the best idea..?
