Your mom did a great job raising you! Classy and smart. I like the way that you continue to move forward. I liked Joe, he seemed like a salt of the earth kind of guy. But he was sweat pants, hiker, beer kind of guy and you seem to me to be a bit more classy. I believe that everyone should have a few relationships before they find their life partner. You will find yours and when you do he'll be the lucky one!

Your Mom is intriguing (just like you). I would love to have tea with her and learn why she acquired certain pieces in that lovely home. For now, I am going to ask my husband who is a cabinet maker to watch the beginning clips to explain the origin of two specific pieces of furniture. The details of the carving. And the bathroom, took my breath away. Love the color, chair, table, mirror and the oval window. 😘

I’ve ordered glass bottle body oil and what made it survive the journey to my home is they wrapped it in bubble wrap (a lot of it ) and then laid it in a box filled with crinkly cardboard paper. I think that will hold the perfume bottle 😁

My mom had the same taste back in the late 90's, she had (still has) the same sofa and chairs in teal. Picture frames in gold and similar curtains. I would do my homework in her big wooden antique dining table. Wow, the years flew by so fast. Aww the nostalgia! This was a throwback for me. :-)

I dreamed about you this weekend, ha ha! (So weird). I went out for a walk and decided to walk into the mall to use the restroom and I came across you and some other guy. Apparently you were on a date ... You were wearing a crop top with jeans, your hair was the same. The guy was wearing a suit with a white shirt and kind of looked like Harry Potter. I remember talking to you in the restroom and you were glowing and quite excited like a teenager but relaxed at the same time. You were extremely confident and you told me you have been on multiple dates with different guys. Your energy made me feel like I was a teenager as well. We walked out the restroom together and you introduced me to your date and I noticed that he was drooling all over you. Ha ha! We parted ways and that's it!

My mom has that old world taste too. Hers is old world Italian. She loved her formal dining room and separate eat in kitchen. But as time went on smaller was better. I'm very happy that your getting this precious time with your lovely mom. Many wonderful memories in your new home 😀 PS I loved your mom's painting, they're beautifully done and rich with history.
