Elle, 5 years later this video is saved in my favorites playlist that I re-watch frequently. Now I'm 58 years old and I still find this video relevant and personally helpful. When is it helpful? When I have way too much to do! This helps center me (along with breathing exercises, meditating and centering myself). Thanks for just being you!

Love, love, love this video from you, Elle! I’ve been loving recording videos like this as well, I find that being a corporate lawyer really forces you to be as productive as possible - at least for me, it’s certainly not a job that allows me to slack 😂

One of my favorite videos, Elle. You have so much insight and a natural ability to teach. These are great productivity tips and I appreciate you talking through each one. I use good old fashioned pen and paper, too, along with my phone and Outlook but I know I have time that could be used for my goals and dreams. I just need/want to make timekeeping a practice. Including writing down the time where I do nothing, hence "new time". Thank you so much for sharing. Happy weekend!! 🌷

Elle, when I watched your videos at the beginning, I thought you were just a snobbish, superficial rich girl living in a bubble, but really, the more I watch the more I see how grounded, sweet and genuine you are. A good case of judging a book by its covers! Please keep on posting, you are doing amazing!

Wow...this was excellent. I feel like you could do a video on almost every one of the 10 points as a series as well. Maybe breaking it down even further. Please think about doing that. You are a great example of productivity, focus, but also, I think, of balance. I’m in a creative field as a designer...a right brained, big picture vs. details person. That means that I’m literally wired to have difficulty even knowing how to break things down, track time, do the small steps to reach a big goal, etc. I endlessly crave organization & productivity & am forced to figure it out to run my business & life. However it does not come naturally to me & I’m always looking for these kinds of insights & strategies & finer tips that other professionals use. I’d be curious about the best time tracking methods you use, both tech & old school, as a more in depth discussion. It was fascinating about the timed 15 minutes of work vs. the untimed. Also blocking time for things. And the big one...procrastination due to perfectionism or not starting because you can’t finish it. So interesting! Looking forward to much more of this kind of topic!

Really good advice, I think you could use that approach to almost everything that you do.
If I have to do a really big job and I know I'm putting it off, I break it down and do so much today and the rest tomorrow, and nearly always I end up getting it done all in one go anyway, but it's your approach to it that makes the difference 😄

@ElleFlorence People around me think I have it all together when in reality my brain is cluttered with tasks I want to start or finish, I write little list for myself at the beginning of every day but I always end the day with things unfinished so they carry on to the next day. things pile up and so I feel I’m falling sort of the things I want to finish, I have a hard time saying no to people so their needs come before my own, I often put my projects to one side in order to do projects for others thus mine falls sort every time. My cluttered brain gets worn out at times I know people don’t know what's on my agenda unless I tell them they can only act based on what they want for their goals. Saying no is hard but I need to set boundaries so people know. 😞 Great Video Thank You For Sharing 😊

I’m still in the process of No. 1, I think my problem is the small est goals are still not small enough to fit into my daily life .Tip No1 needs more attention than everything-else. Breakdown steps small enough to fit into hours even minutes, then everyone should have time and motivation to finish them one after another.
