I so so so appreciate your attention to Seider!! The new D man for the D as in Detroit!! I think he had to unleash and I am so energized to see him throw down Saturday!! Thank you for your coverage on Seider!!
Seider is gonna be a beast when we finally make the playoffs. His shot blocking is next level, he lays massive hits, and is really durable. Stanley cup caliber defensive player on every level, he just needs the right teammates.
a while back he got a bit schooled against the Oilers by McDavid on 2 separate plays. i watched them very carefully and honestly, it was hard to find any fault with Seider's play, it's just Connor had the offense, and the edge in both plays. he was doing Connor stuff and he just barely got by Mo on 2 great plays. you can't expect even the best D to have an answer every time against the league's best when they are flying.
@@thecount1001 yep, I saw that one. I agree with you. It’s very difficult to defend against McDavid. I thought that Seider did a good job against him besides those 2 goals. The 1 goal was lucky after Seider knocked him over behind the net.
@@GooseGumlizzard hahaha there's always one casual that doesn't understand in depth metrics. I could list a sh*t ton of stats for you. But I'll give you one just for fun, check and see who has plays the hardest minutes in the nhl against the toughest f units. What stat did you look at? His -7? lmaooo
The way he plays he's been one of my favorite defenseman in the league for a little while now. But I've never had any respect for him because he won't fight. If he continues to do this a few times a year he will gain my respect.
Mo Seider literally makes up for the shortcomings of his teammates. Kane got stripped by the guy coming out of the box and Sieder laid down and broke up the play with a good hustle back in his own zone.
+ This since Forsberg has 3 fights in 9ish seasons in the league and came back to score the game winner. Moritz Seider is a beast, and will be for a long long time, but one of the toughest? The man is 38th in hitting, and has more Lidstrom in him then Stevens atm, and thats not a bad thing.
Seider is a great young defenseman and yes he is a tough defenseman BUT if you mean tough by fighting ability, beating Forsberg is not a good measuring stick for that I’m sorry man
Lalonde & Yzerman must have been cringing watching Mo punching the sh*t out of Forsberg. Broken hands don't heal fast and with the playoff race heated up, woo wee. Great Tilt though...
He is great for fighting Forsberg....who doesn't fight. Yeh good one there bud, no doubt he's a solid D man but shit fighting a forward who doesn't fight doesn't mean anything
So a fight against Forsberg makes him the complete tough guy? I'm not saying he's bad but come on, that's baby steps in fighting. I wouldn't put him against Rempe.
Fighting McCarron would have been a bad trade He got Preds top scorer Filip Forsberg into a fight, that also doesn't make him a tough guy but he doesn't need to be, he just needs to be gritty for his team and that he is
Seider is a cross checking baby. Anyone can lace guys with a crosscheck. He makes alot of mistakes and if he goes with a tough guy it will make Redman cry. He will get his ass beat
You're funny, look at their bios, seider isn't that much bigger in height, exact same weight, and I've seen the smaller guy beat up the bigger guy plenty of times. Forsberg made a mistake.
Did we watch the same fight? Forsberg was the first to drop the mits and start chucking hands. Also with the size of Seider, most guys are going to be smaller than him.

Just imagine if Seider played with the 1990s Wings.
Imagine him pairing with Konstantinov.
He's a stud

That’s true

Detroit needs a couple more like him on the roster in order to move up to the next level.
I agree
Welcome to MO’town!!!

Dammit I can't believe I didn't spot that opportunity. Gem
He is so dominant great two way defenseman he is really strong
Yep 🙌
Check the stats this year he’s terrible defensively

Enjoy his hits mucho… some are 3 inch hits that flatten people . Just that subtle . But packs a mule kick. His 1st season hits were great also

Really great last month for Detroit! Maybe next year will find the Red Wings in the playoffs?
They need to step it up these final 9 games of the season.

What fight did he win now?

Won’t get to see him in the playoffs this year………………but it’s coming.
They're close to making it

A lot of people were saying that he couldn't back up his hits with a fight.
I see a lot of boarding and leaving his feet.
No joke and giving elbows
If only the rest of his team would play like him
Larkin and Debrincat do
Hopefully they will all step it up now so that they will make the playoffs.
@@OlmStarBrawls id say larkin does not so much debrincat
Seider and Raymond were the only bright spots of the cursed Garbage Patch Kids season.
His hits are dirty. Elbows and cross checks

Who says that German tanks get broken hands?

Dont mess with German tank!
sometimes other NHL-guys looking like little boys, if they try to check Seider.....
He gets in one fight and he’s a beast? What is this?
People were saying he can’t back up his big hits
I love Seider, but this video is embarrassing. Don’t try so hard. The guy fought once, against a smaller non-fighter.
I’m just to trying to make a point that he can back up his big hits.
He is kinda tough, throws some big hits......but the toughest d-man in he league he is not. Come on man.....think about what you've said.

Detroit out of playoffs, Lalonde has lost them
Xhekaj, Reaves or Rempe would destroy him.
Beast for fighting a skill guy much smaller than him? You wings fans are delusional
Seider isn’t a fighter. That was his first fight. He consistently throws huge hits in all of his seasons so far.

For beating up a guy who never fights and isnt a even a physical player. If he fought Mccarron or Janko he wouldve been pieced up
So stupid players still have to fight after CLEAN hits, effing beer league 1950’s hockey.
overrated
