Seider is gonna be a beast when we finally make the playoffs. His shot blocking is next level, he lays massive hits, and is really durable. Stanley cup caliber defensive player on every level, he just needs the right teammates.

a while back he got a bit schooled against the Oilers by McDavid on 2 separate plays. i watched them very carefully and honestly, it was hard to find any fault with Seider's play, it's just Connor had the offense, and the edge in both plays. he was doing Connor stuff and he just barely got by Mo on 2 great plays. you can't expect even the best D to have an answer every time against the league's best when they are flying.

@@thecount1001 yep, I saw that one. I agree with you. It’s very difficult to defend against McDavid. I thought that Seider did a good job against him besides those 2 goals. The 1 goal was lucky after Seider knocked him over behind the net.

Mo Seider literally makes up for the shortcomings of his teammates. Kane got stripped by the guy coming out of the box and Sieder laid down and broke up the play with a good hustle back in his own zone.

+ This since Forsberg has 3 fights in 9ish seasons in the league and came back to score the game winner. Moritz Seider is a beast, and will be for a long long time, but one of the toughest? The man is 38th in hitting, and has more Lidstrom in him then Stevens atm, and thats not a bad thing.
