I don't know who produced this game, but the change in camera angle during Terry Glenn's 85 yard play made me truly respect the craft. I couldn't believe someone had the wherewithal to change angles in the middle of a play!
This is maybe my favorite football game of all time. It has everything: underdog wins, a comeback, Regis mouthing off, iconic plays, Eddie rushing for 200+ yards, the crowd exploding on Glenn's long TD catch, Ron "will win the Heisman trophy twice" Paulus losing after taunting the crowd, everything good about college football.
This team was sooooo damn loaded. As I said in another post, "Poor Coop, ( AND POOR BUCKEYE PLAYERS & FANS!) 93,95,96& 98, what could have and should have been"!!!!!!
That crowd noise rule was ridiculous. Talk about taking away a team's home field advantage. Thank goodness the officials didn't always enforce it, and thankfully it doesn't exist anymore....in fact I didn't even recall that it was still around in '95.
Imagine what Terry Glenn could have done if college football was more passer friendly like it is today. His numbers were huge in an era when college football was still more run than pass
The biggest thing is that the Bucks have had 15 realistic chances to at least split an NC since 68. We've won two. 68,69,70,73,74,75,79,93,95,96,98,02,03,06,& 07. We either couldn't beat scUM, win our bowl game or as in 98, MSU. That's the life of us being a Buckeye fan. I wonder if any other big time program has had as many realistic chances? Look back at these years and you'll see what I mean. How many other years durring this timeframe have we had great teams that underachieved?
Whaaatttt? Did you actually watch Eddie? Beanie wasn't anywhere near Eddie's level....Eddie had more big time runs in his Heisman year than Beanie had in his career...1900+ yds in 1995 for Eddie is still by far the school record....in my lifetime, Eddie was by far the best RB for OSU...
Notre Dame getting beat, always enjoyable. This game meant Notre Dame had no shot at the National Championship in 1995. That made this win even sweeter. Notre Dame football: overrated. The Irish need to join a conference.
i think I'd definitely rank Beanie ahead of Eddie. I had recalled thi being Eddie's best big-game performance. And he just doesn't compare to Beanie's explosiveness and big play ability.
The crowd noise rule....what a friggin joke. Watching this game in honor of Terry Glenn who passed today 11-20-17.
Ohio State beating Notre Dame never gets old.
Keith Jackson was the best announcer I've ever heard call a ball game.
The Big Hoss.
Loved his commentary!
I'll take Gus Johnson. But, except for a few fumbles early, this is one of Jackson's more iconic game calls.
Cold hard facts
Love the notes posted in the video. I remember this game so well. It pretty much ushered OSU into a top team in the modern era.
Nick Umoh Absolutely. This is one of the biggest wins in Ohio State history; it set the table for the glory days of the Cooper years.

83 yard play
Change angles? It was like he was shot out of a cannon from a full stop.

Love the play by Fickell. Truly a Buckeye

Well, I think we can rule out psychic ability by Regis!
OPace was a freakin' wall!

I'm in the hospital beside the stadium watching the game while my wife was giving birth to our first child!
Scarlet and Great!

Chris Kreager If he had come back for his senior year we would have won a national title...
A Heisman Trophy winning RB helps alot
@buckskipper
Has there EVER been a more dominant offensive lineman in college football than Pace?! NOTHING could get past him.
Jonathan Ogden
Bryant McKinnie at Miami
Yeah so #83 is pretty good...lol
ah...... memories.
wow i forgot how stacked this osu team was, they could have prolly beaten the bengals at this time.
Brock Bucci yeah they couldn’t beat a 4 loss Michigan team. You’re so dumb boy!
Whats that crowd noise rule bullshit?
@dowutado wish Beanie stayed for his senior year though. A healthy Beanie would have got a Heisman. Both are BEASTS!!

College football in the 90's damn where time has gone
It looks strange to see the OSU QB up under center.
Notre Dame still trying to break losing streak against Buckeyes
Somebody please let me know when Ron Powlus picks up that 4th Heisman Trophy.
rip terry glenn
Who sang the theme song you use?
Meet Terry Glenn.....
True. But Eddie George isnt getting a Heisman in an Urban Meyer offense with a QB like Miller.
Ohio State was loaded with talent!! John Cooper was one hell a of a recruiter,
Notre Dame could be good for the Big Ten...but only if Notre Dame falls out with NBC and can't get another TV deal
cbalwinjr .... the game your looking for can be found under the title:
Appalacian St. 34 Michagan 32
That's what I thought.
that makes no sense... you go for 1 and give yourself a chance.. making it one possession there is far more important than making it 7 instead of 8.
njc2o none better
7:44 .
"Going for 2... for some reason..."???
if they had made it, they would have been down by 7 points, instead of 8 with a PAT.
I like this kid;.

I-O!!

Nd up 6 choked it away thanks to Moseley and that terrible pick by powlus
@ 5:52 here it comes.

the 1998 team was better
Notre Dame has had maybe 5 good Seasons since this game? LOL
@ 5:52 here it comes.
RIP Regis
