We have buttons for our dogs. One uses them fairly regularly, the other, not so much. It is fun to hear them, and KNOW that they are talking to you. But, it does take lots of work, with listening to them, and modeling for them over and over! lol.
Haha yeah, they’re curious about them but I imagine it will take a while for them to actually use them 😂 what does your dog who uses them say most regularly?
I absolutely love your challenge setup for the year! I had a really bad mental health year in 2023 and neglected the bullet journal that I set up completely, and honestly wasn’t going to do one at all for 2024. But seeing the way you made an overall list of goals for yourself and then broke those goals down to make them achievable each month is really inspiring. ♥️♥️♥️ Thank you as always for sharing your beautiful work!

I had to move my foldouts to the first page (the ones that always don’t separate correctly) I made a pocket out of them and then used it to put my fold outs as well cause I too didn’t want to mess up the gorgeous inside cover of mine!
I always do 24 in 2024 style list! This year all my goals are going to be focused on my Fanfiction hobby. I’m combining this with a seasonal system, so I’m setting 6/24 first up and aiming to finish those before spring.
Such a gorgeous spread. I loooooove the gold. When I got my 8x8 Archer & Olive notebook for my reading journal this year I wasn’t expecting the beautiful gold design on the inside cover and I didn’t want to cover it up but I also wanted to add something. I ended up using a black and gold tissue paper and covered a portion of the inside cover and it actually compliments it so well. The juxtaposition of the white and gold flowers underneath a black with gold polka dot paper turned out so pretty. Definitely an option if you wanna add something to the gold inside cover of future journals but don’t want to fully cover it up. Happy New Year!! 🎉

Mine involves stickers and calligraphy though, because I’m not a gifted artist with a paintbrush like you - maybe That should be one of my goals for 2024 because I’ve watched you progress with painting over time, through regular practice. This looks so beautiful❤ I didn't include a period tracker this year around, as I had my period exactly once in 2023 (I'm in treatment for PCOS, and will have induced periods coming up to minimize the cancer risk) I'm doing 100 day challenges instead of monthly challenges, as the longer time period makes it easier for me to actually make a habit out of it. And my first challenge is daily yoga too! My goal for the first quarter is moving out as I broke up with my long-term partner a few weeks ago and obviously don't want to live with him anymore. This means saying goodbye to our cats as I don't have the means to properly care for them (in terms of space and money), which I'm very apprehensive about. My 24 in 2024 mainly include goals to embrace both my personality and gender identity (I've been hit with the "wait a moment, I'm not cis" in July 23), like finding and engaging with my local LGBTQ community, buying a chest binder and getting a more gender neutral haircut, as well as getting piercings and tattoos I've wanted for years now and never gotten around to doing. So 2024 is the year! I'm really looking forward to the new year, as with the break-up, the move and everything, it very much feels like a new start and after feeling like being stuck for such a long time, I absolutely need a new start

I often do my own barre since I was in regular ballet classes from 4 to my mid twenties and also taught for a while! If I’m not feeling creative I’ll follow a class on UA-cam (I like Kathryn Morgan). For other styles I’ve tried apps like CLI Studios (which I liked, though I didn’t renew this year because I wasn’t using it enough) and more often I give myself a warm-up and then learn choreography from a UA-cam video! I have a small space with a barre, mirrors, and some Marley to protect our hardwood floors ❤️
When you use Stamps, how long do you wait for them to dry? I've had stamps I've waited full days to dry and they would smudge as soon as I tried to use the spread. Is there a special ink pad I should look for? I wonder if it is because of my notebook paper(I use notebook therapy) any tips would be appreciated!
I’d look for archival quality ink if you can get it and give it a gentle pat to check it’s dry before turning the page. This gold ink takes a little longer to dry than my usual black ink so I did smudge it a tiny bit on one spread! Usually I only need about 30 seconds and it’s good to go.
@@PlantBasedBride She's had a few accidental and butt-dial presses, but nothing intentional. She's a lot more interested in the mouse who managed to get in the house.
I roll over a million times a night (many old injuries start to hurt if I stay in the same position) and wake up on my back a lot! My head/neck is always comfy 🥰
@@PlantBasedBride ahahahaha, don't worry they'll get there! Perhaps putting a bit of a squeezy treat on the button may help, so (hopefully) when they lick it it'll press down and then you can do the action (scirtches). Once they associate the buttons with good things they'll def be pressing them

When you use Stamps, how long do you wait for them to dry? I've had stamps I've waited full days to dry and they would smudge as soon as I tried to use the spread. Is there a special ink pad I should look for? I wonder if it is because of my notebook paper(I use notebook therapy) any tips would be appreciated!
I’d look for archival quality ink if you can get it and give it a gentle pat to check it’s dry before turning the page. This gold ink takes a little longer to dry than my usual black ink so I did smudge it a tiny bit on one spread! Usually I only need about 30 seconds and it’s good to go.

@@PlantBasedBride She's had a few accidental and butt-dial presses, but nothing intentional. She's a lot more interested in the mouse who managed to get in the house.

the pillow sounds great but like i sleep in every position imaginable 😂
I roll over a million times a night (many old injuries start to hurt if I stay in the same position) and wake up on my back a lot! My head/neck is always comfy 🥰

Tip for the buttons: don’t let the first thing you teach them be “treat” because then they’ll always be on that treat button 😅😂
Haha yes I saw that tip! We’re starting with Play and Scritches but I’m struggling to get them to do more than sniff them 😂
@@PlantBasedBride ahahahaha, don't worry they'll get there! Perhaps putting a bit of a squeezy treat on the button may help, so (hopefully) when they lick it it'll press down and then you can do the action (scirtches). Once they associate the buttons with good things they'll def be pressing them
