Julia, thanks for another great video and project. Have you tried washing these baskets? I am thinking about gifting a basket to a child to put toys in, etc. and I know the moms will want to know if they can be washed without distorting the shape.

Hi! Yes, of course you can wash it. Just put a basket under a stream of water (around 30-40 degrees Celsius, do not use hot water), use some non-aggressive soap and a soft sponge and after washing use some towel to absorb water, fix the shape of the basket by hands and leave it on the towel until completely dry.
I know that some people also wash it in a washing machine using low water temperature and delicate mode but I personally have never tried it for baskets, only for slippers.
I’m pretty new to crochet. What does 7/9 millimeter yarn mean? When I search for yarns, I can’t find anything like that in most descriptions.

Sorry but I can't say how many grams. We measure it by meters or by the number of yarn skeins
