Yes, thank you. I wanted to make something that looked a little more professional for events. These have worked out great and we have used them a lot. Thanks for your comment!
Awesome, thank you so much for purchasing the plans. The Oh Baby sign on the grass backdrop was I believe 48inches. I am in the process of making plans available for the signs we have. Hopefully in the next week or so. Thank you!
@@sabzanovfamily9422 Hi, I'm not 100% sure on the height, as it is in storage. But 48 inches length and the height is probably close to 20 inches on the bigger letters. Thank you.
Hi, I doubt it. They mainly cut pieces of plywood smaller to fit in vehicles or do maybe 2 or 3 cuts. These would be a lot of cuts and I am pretty sure they would not, but you never know. Its just a lot of measurements and different sizes.
Hi, yes you can. But it would help if you placed a 2 x 4 or some type of straight edge to guide the material being cut to make sure the cut is close to straight. As the jigsaw is easy to swerve. Also have some sand paper to sand the edges as sometimes the jigsaw can leave edges from the blade. But yes you can definitely use a jigsaw blade with something straight clamped on the side to guide the jigsaw straight.
Hi, thanks for watching. The stained one was wood. The painted ones were MDF. If you are going to stain them it needs to be wood. MDF will not stain well. But you can paint or stain wood.
Are you able to give any further explanation on why the sides are better off different sizes? I have been having a hard time understanding and I’m deciding if I’m going to buy the template to make these or do another way with equal sides. Why the deduction, if you don’t mind my asking. Also do the letters still look good for all sides?
Hi thanks for watching and I can understand your question. It may be hard to explain with out drawing a picture but I will try my best. If you cut four pieces of wood that is 1 inch thick, cut them 10 inches long. Then put them together in a square, two sides will be 10 inches long and the opposite sides will be 12 inches long because of the 1 inch width of the wood. If the wood was the width of a piece of paper than you could stand them up into a box and because they would be so thin all sides would be close to equal, well at least it would be so minimal in width that you wouldn't notice it. But since wood is thicker, standing four sides up that are length wise the same and pushing them up against each other the width would make the length longer on two sides of a square. The reason I know this is I first built boxes all the same sizes and when I put them together realized they were longer on one side? So I adjusted it to be even when finished. I looks better to me when they are all square. Some people might not notice it but it bothered me, so I re made mine. So, the three sizes in the video I was referring to was front, sides and top/bottom. Hope this helps, sorry really hard to explain with out a piece of paper. Thanks!
@@MakerDecor no you literally explain it perfectly and I completely understand what’s going on now! I thought it was slanted in the back. But now I understand and feel comfortable purchasing! Thank you
Hi, I purchased them from either Michael's or Hobby Lobby. They are 8 inch chipboard letters. I believe hobby lobby has them cheaper. I am also going to be making some out wood and selling those and other things by the end of the year as well.
Hi, the table saw is a dewalt jobsite table saw. It was one of their cheaper options. I currently do not have the space for a larger one, but this one does the job for the price. I bought it on sale!
Hi thanks for watching. Home depot does do some cutting. It is a lot of cutting, so I would definitely go during the evening or when it is not so busy and ask an associate if he can make some cuts for you. And have the sizes ready. They may do it if you find a very helpful associate or say that is a lot of cuts? What I would try is maybe see if they can just cut the square pieces for you to size. Then buy some of the precut runners I show at the end of the video to place around the edges? Thank you.
Thank you for watching. I have adjusted the price constantly. I added these mainly, to add these to packages we rent. I did not rent these separately as that would not be cost effective for my time and schedule to just rent these out individually. So, I would have these as an add on. So if some one rented a package for like $500 they could add the baby blocks for additional $50-$75. I did this to most of the props I rented at different prices. So someone would rent the backdrop or balloons and they could add as many props as they wanted. For example the Plinths tables, candy cart, baby blocks, etc. Since I was already making the trip and setting up the backdrop, the props like baby blocks were an easy add on to increase the price and return on investment to create the baby blocks. I was able to rent these add-ons multiple times so it was definitely worth it for me. For price it really depends on your market as with some markets it could be much higher or rented differently than me.

If I wanted to make 8x8x8 or 10x10x10 how would the cuts change? Would I be able to purchase custom instructions?
Hi, sorry no the size is set in the plans for 15 inches. Sorry I do not do custom plans at this time. Thank you!
are those dowels 1x1 or 2x2, cut list says 1x1. They just look a little bigger. Thanks
Hi, thanks for your support. And yes the plans are correct. 1 x 1. Please let me know if you have any questions, good luck!

If I go to home depot or lowes can they cut the wood in this way with these specific sizes?
