THANK YOU SO MUCH ❤️ I bought your plans on Etsy and managed to build the cart - it was my first ever project like this. Your videos and plans were so helpful! You're an angel!
If you can make the design to size, places like Staples and Office Depot can do large size prints. They’re under “blueprints” in the printing section. You upload files online ad they print them pretty cheaply - like $4 for a 24”x36” in black and white. They have a 36”x48” for $8, but turn-around is 3-5 days. It might not fit the whole stencil, but you could likely get it to just a few sheets, saving time and avoiding mistakes in alignment. Great work...thank you!
Absolutely LOVE this! Thank you so much for sharing your creative idea and video with us. Love that you show where we can get in trouble with the project and gave helpful tips. You're amazing, can't wait to see what else you do
Yassss! Now this is what I’m talking about!!!! More pop up/ foldable props and installs!!! I only have a small SUV and I am a picnic/ event stylist. I need the space saving set ups!
Hi, thank you so much! Yes that was my main inspiration was transportation. Our first cart was awesome but It was so much hassle each time to transport, setup and pickup. So this was made out of that struggle 🤣
Plywood boards are typically made from thin layers of wood that have been glued together under high pressure to create a flat surface with a uniform appearance. However, over time plywood can warp, which means the board won’t lay completely flat anymore, or some parts might be raised up higher than others.👌
Thank you very much, yeah I wish the process was more elegant. But I am still just using scrap paper and a pen, lol. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Hi, thank you very much for subscribing! And yes I have been excited trying to design the foldable picnic table. So hopefully the video comes out next month!

Hi, brought your plans and love it this is my first time trying this level of Carpentry skills. I am only having trouble with my two side panels matching level. I did not make the wheels I brought them. My legs were 9 1/2 in and my wheel measure 23 1/2 top to bottom on panel side and 9 1/2 bottom. This was the only measurements that actually change for me. I just do not know why. Do you perhaps have an idea? Thanks Denise
Hi, thanks for reaching out. I am trying to figure out the situation. For the side panels to match level, are you referring to both the right and left side panels matching up level to each other? That may be the hinges are not aligned right from the sides, as this is a easy problem to have. And moving the hinges slightly then realigning to make sure they are even with the boards will allow it to shut and open level. But if you are referring to the wheel and leg portion then that may have to deal with the wheel placement. When you have a chance please message my Etsy store or email diyrentalbuilds@gmail.com and I can better assist. As it is easier to send images so I have a better idea of the issue and I can easily send images to make sure we are on the same page. Sorry for the late reply as I do not check UA-cam everyday. But I check my email and Etsy store constantly as that is based more on the plans purchased. Please reach out so I can get a better idea to help you. Thank you for your support and good luck!
Thank you, I am glad my video has helped you. Yes there was a lot of detail that went into this build and I do want to do another candy cart version. But that may be later at the end of the year or so, thanks for watching!
Hello I bought the plan but wanted to make some modifications with adding the balusters to the top. Are you able to give me an idea of how to do that and will the top still be foldable?
Hi, I do use a brad nail gun from Ryobi it is the 18gauge brad nail gun. Definitely recommend it has been great and have had it for years! Home Depot usually has sales for it, so make sure to check for the sales first.
Thank you very much. The paint I use a lot is Behr interior/ exterior High Gloss Ultra Pure White. It works great. But if you want a professional look I do recommend a paint sprayer as well. It makes so much of a difference having a gun spray the paint makes it look like it came from a factory! I do say that is probably the biggest leap I made with painting is switching to a sprayer. I do show using a smooth roller on the channel a lot, but that is just to show with minimal tools these props can look great. But A sprayer does take it to the next level for sure. Thanks for watching and good luck!

Hi, I will not sell this candy cart. I built this one as my prototype, so I can make the videos and make the plans for others to build one like this. I sell the plans for others to build this one on my Etsy shop www.etsy.com/shop/MakerDecor I have seen others build this and sell them, but I do not ask how much they sell them for? Thank you
Hi, yes in the plans all the supplies are listed. It is available in the Etsy store makerdecor. You can find the link under the description of the video. Good luck
Hi, at the moment I do not. I am hoping it is possible in the future and am working on seeing how that would work shipping wise. But at this time I don't have an exact time when that would be, sorry.
Hi, thanks for watching. I do not build to sell at the moment. Hopefully in a couple of months I am able to put somethings together to start selling some products. But for now all we sell are the digital plans for people to build themselves on our Etsy store. Thank you.
Hi, thanks for watching. I have a little video that shows some of the plywood and other stuff I used or can be used to make this cart. ua-cam.com/video/tmyIjlXwSjc/v-deo.html
@@vacevedo15625 Oh that makes perfect sense. I don't know why I didn't see that now lol, sorry about that. The sand grit I use will vary on what I am doing. For rough sanding when I am trying to remove a lot, I use 80 grit. But that is aggressive so have to be careful with that. Then my next go to grit is 120 which will remove a lot of wood quickly but not as much as the 80 grit. I use 120 a lot. and sometimes only the 120 depending on the project. Then for my smoother grit I do anything around 160 maybe 180. which will leave it smooth enough for me. But you never want it too smooth because then the paint wont adhere to it. So having it a little rough will help the paint adhere so much better and not bubble up later or start to peel. Also thin coats of paint, because thick coats of paint will be easy to peel off later. But everyone finds the grit that they feel works best for them on the project and setup they have. I hope that helps and good luck!
@@MakerDecor no problem but sounds good thanks for the advice my wife wants me to tackle now this project of yours and by far seems the hardest out of like 5 of them I’ve done from your Etsy page but your instructions are pretty clear so but just never seen the sand grit so I usually just use 120 also but just want to make sure if that would be good
@@vacevedo15625 Thanks for the support. And though the project is large. It is probably one of my easier projects. Once you build it, the hardest part will probably be the taping together the stencil papers and painting lol. But definitely don't be afraid to change anything to customize it as well. If you see my Etsy customer pics. You can see they have some they have custom made as well or changed certain things. If you have any questions along the way just message my email or the website. As it is usually a quick reply along with the option to send images to make sure we are on the same page. I check UA-cam every couple of days. Good luck!

Hi, thanks for watching. The plywood was 1/2 inch sanded plywood from Lowes.
what size plywood do you use ?
Hi, for the body of the cart 1/2 inch
What are those thing called the ones you put for the folding the one to close
Hi, those are just the hinges. They make it easy to setup and store later.
Question how much you will sell this candy car?
Hi, I will not sell this candy cart. I built this one as my prototype, so I can make the videos and make the plans for others to build one like this. I sell the plans for others to build this one on my Etsy shop www.etsy.com/shop/MakerDecor
I have seen others build this and sell them, but I do not ask how much they sell them for? Thank you
Where can I get dimensions or stencils?
Hi www.etsy.com/shop/MakerDecor
Do you have a list of lumber used?
Hi, yes in the plans all the supplies are listed. It is available in the Etsy store makerdecor. You can find the link under the description of the video. Good luck
Do you sell the candy cart? if yes, for how much?
Hi, at the moment I do not. I am hoping it is possible in the future and am working on seeing how that would work shipping wise. But at this time I don't have an exact time when that would be, sorry.
Does anyone know roughly about how much this would cost to make ?
What’s the name of your Etsy shop?
Maker Decor, the link is under the video description. Thanks for the support.
Hey bro u out of dallas ft worth area
HI, sorry no. San Antonio.
How much do you charge to ship?
Hi, sorry I do not build this product to ship. I only sell the plans to build yourself on our Etsy store. Thank you

Hello do you ship & sale to South Texas?
Hi, I do not sell the larger items such as the candy cart. But I do sell smaller items on makerdecorshop.com
How much do you charge to build?
Hi, thanks for watching. I do not build to sell at the moment. Hopefully in a couple of months I am able to put somethings together to start selling some products. But for now all we sell are the digital plans for people to build themselves on our Etsy store. Thank you.
Hello what kind of wood should I buy to make this?
Hi, thanks for watching. I have a little video that shows some of the plywood and other stuff I used or can be used to make this cart. ua-cam.com/video/tmyIjlXwSjc/v-deo.html
@@MakerDecor thank you I just watched the video can’t wait to make mine!!!
Hey quick question what sand grid do you use ?
Hi, sand grid?
@@MakerDecor hi I meant sand grit for the sander
Good luck!
