These are lovely, we've gone from 3 figures that look great but weren't any of them accurate representation of any onscreen variants, to these two hyperaccurate ones, I love that. Al is a big fan of Destiny of the Daleks, so I think that is maybe something to do with why this set has had such great attention to detail put in, feels a bit of a labour of love.
I do like the story, but not the actors portrayal of Davros (though I prefer it to Terry Molloy who is always shouting and looks more like Ena Sharples) and I really do not like the Daleks being 'carried' really badly in the exterior shots on location. I also don't like the cheap looking yellow and red 'explosive devices' attached to the Daleks.
To be honest these might be my favorite classic Dalek design and the fact they don't all match and look cheaply made in the story are part of the reason they're my favorite it just feels right to me idk why
When you think about it it’s quite likely if we get a destiny Davross set next year that the suicide Dalek would probably be included but that’s a question now only Character can tell.
I hope they do 2 sets with remembrance, one with the renegades and one with the imperials. I really want another release of Renegade supreme and special weapons Dalek, I still need them
I think it would be better if they did a set 1 with the Imperial drone and the renegade drone, then a set 2 with the SWD and the Renegade Supreme. That way you can easily army build Imperials and Renegades with just 1 set. And you only really need 1 SWD or Supreme.
@@JP-yf2fk that’s actually a great suggestion, I assumed that they will probably release the renegades and imperials together but that would sell a lot better, I also still want those planer of the Daleks with the hybrid reveal but they go for about 100 in box on eBay
The new eyestalk can double as an enlarged version of the imperial/renegade daleks eyestalks like from the rememberance 4 pack where the eyestalks were teeny tiny
I imagine when we get to the Renegade-Imperial War era, they'll either double up releases (Imp and Ren drone/Supreme and SWD) and Emperor Davros/Doctor or something. Basically, I reckon they'll do a whole wave just on Remembrance there. Although, I think they'll have to remake some of the parts, as I heard the moulds were gone, especially for the Imperial slats.
This is the first time with these sets that I feel a bit disappointed about the sculpt limitations given by the budget. Since the ovalless Dalek is clearly meant to represent the goon shoulders on the “pyramid” exhibition skirt. It would’ve been ludicrously expensive, but one can still dream, I suppose 😅
The Daleks rotating look like Miss World contestants from the 1970s. "Here's Miss Skaro, who likes killing everything, water skiing and working with the homeless."
Now November 16th there aren't any in the b&m stores where i live on Teesside. Yet on their official website 'In-store only' not sure when they will actually be in stores #characteroptions
I don’t see the point trying to collect these now, clearly some discrimination going on with B&M distribution. Next to no sets have been in the north of the U.K. for the past year. I haven’t been able to get any expect the 4th Doctor and Robot set. What is the issue? If Australia can get them why can’t we? I also tried bigger stores like in Edinburgh, Glasgow and even Newcastle. Had no luck.
@@stygi4n108 That’s annoying to hear man, there is another channel that posted about the sets not getting any distribution up north, and showed they were all south. I donno what the issue.
Silver edging was aluminium corner strip that they used to tidy up the bumper but never painted .. its screams out on screen ...
Helps take attention from the odd Tussauds skirt at least.

Not many people rate destiny of the Daleks, but I've always liked it too x
@@TimelordUK I’ve always liked the Dalek design but not a fan of the story I do enjoy it as it is white fun but not the best dalek story out there

Colour scheme is absolutely gorgeous

I was able to buy this set in my local B&M Bargains this morning. Great addition to my Doctor Who collection, you really can't have too many Daleks.

Idk why but every single destiny 2 pack i have had, the no oval dalek always has a problem with the head where it gets loose if i turn it to the back.
I'd love to have seen the suicide Dalek rereleased, sadly I don't it and would have liked to have it in my collection.
Best History of the Daleks set so far? I'm tempted to say so.
Day of the Daleks is right there
Blue and black goes pretty well on a Dalek surprisingly, would love to see that colourscheme on a new series dalek!
(Or is it grey?)
Now we wait if there’s going to be a destiny Davros and bomb Dalek
They should a whole new four pack for Remembrance of the Daleks
Would make sense.
Might be the online exclusive?

At my BM, these will be sold out! Big time!
-Amazing video by the way.

I'm guessing you've been very eager for this set, Matthew! Understandably, it is gorgeous.
Black and grey cool 😎!
Are they for sale in B+M ?
Not yet.
I love the Destiny Daleks, these figures look great. Great review Mathew!

I have a similar issue in the South, been around each and every b&m and Daleks in particular are never present.

I absolutely can’t stand the props in Destiny but for some reason I adore this set and really want it.
That oval Dalek really wants to move lol
