10:22 How was it lovey-dudes?
Holy crap that was huge, you guys have massive balls
Thanks! 😅
It’s been awesome to watch you both progress over the last couple years
Great work you two!
So green and pretty. I miss the summer.
You did well both of you, those drops were huge.
I am definitely not there yet, never tried anything this big.
Thanks, man! It's all just slow and gradual progression. If you start on a four foot drop and add a foot or two every season for a few years, you'll end up hitting pretty big drops before you know it.
Nice ! Looks like a sweet park to visit
You two just keep leveling up! Wow! 👍👍👍
😊
Been there many times. Road the trails. I still need a bubble suit just to watch Fort Hill Videos. LOL I imagine those jumps are even harder to judge when you weigh barely more than your bike. 😆
😁 I'm still too scared to ride the rest of Fort Hill. 😅
Me and my man Kerry Crandall built Fort Hill. Good to see it still serves as a point of progression. Thunder Mountain has three great jump trails n countless single tracks. Americas favorite bike park!!!!!
Can't wait to go back. 😊
How big are the first two drops at the start? I haven't been able to find any information other than guessing from reference videos/photos.
Good ride my friend..I love your ride
Uau!! What a bike park!!! Nice bikes of yours
Wow !! Massive !! Kudos to you guys !!
Great Job guys! Keep it up
Soon you will both ended up in hitting massive stuff, it's clear to me 👊🏻😎. Always a pleasure to watch your videos guys, i will love to ride with you but we are a bit far away 🤣
Gronk looks like my kind of trail!!!
Haha. Definitely! 😁👍 Made me think of that time we went to Blue Mountain in Ontario. Good times.
@@dukeofmtb exactly what I was thinking! Looks a little less flowy, but still fun.
Sick and slick🚵🏽♂️
Trying this bike park out next weekend. This video is an awesome review of the jumps 🤘🏽
Glad you liked it. 😁
Awesome vid. I’m just starting to learn jumps. I was at Thunder last weekend, gronk is a great place to improve. Nowhere near the pro line though…
Thanks! You'll progress pretty quickly with all the awesome parks you have in that area. You should try Killington too. Blue Magic is also excellent for learning jumps on. 😁👍
I’ve been there too. I’ve hit some big jumps to.😮😅
We didn't hit the big jumps on the pro line though, just the drops. Too scary. 😅 Maybe next time. 😊
What kind of bike exercise do y’all do for winter?
Cory has a trainer she spends a few minutes on after leg day with weights in the basement. I'm already very physical in general, so I try to minimize wear and tear on my knees outside of work, weightlifting, and regular riding. And then we still try and go pedal around at least once a week if we can.
Once you get used to the speed required on Hawleywood, it is more fun than the gronk. It is too easy to over shoot everything on the gronk. Hawleywood you can go full send because the landing is so big on them, but if you case one bad, you are not going to have a good time.
I am actually surprised that Hawleywood gave you guys trouble considering all the other crazy stuff that I see you guys ride. Esp fort hill. That is a big hell no to me.
Sometimes it takes us a few runs before getting a hang of things. Each jump trail is built a little different. We only rode Hawleywood the one time.
@@dukeofmtb good shit on fort hill though. You guys are fearless with drops. How does it feel size wise compared to drop the hammer or slim shady ( horn hills )?
@@s14tat Slim Shady would be the smallest. The first Fort Hill drop is roughly the size of the first Drop the Hammer drop, and the second Fort Hill drop is definitely bigger. We've gotten pretty comfortable with going off drops with flat platforms and wide open landings. Adding berms or jumps immediately before or after make it a little trickier.
@@dukeofmtb thanks for giving the frame of reference for the drops that you have done from around the country. Are you guys planning on hitting mountain creek?
@@s14tat We've been there. I might have some footage in backlog. If so, I'll be turning the footage into a video sometime this winter.
She's a daredevil.... every video proves it! How many times has her husband CRINGED,,, its actually funny/cool
😁 lol yup. She just wants to send it. It worries me sometimes. 😅
@@dukeofmtb I know... we know... you two put out GREAT videos... hey! You two coming up to New england this season?
@@Frank-gp6qr The Northeast? Ofcourse! We love all the bike parks there. 😁
You guys need to come back to Frick Park in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania there's a new jump trail and trail system that's exceptional and I think you guys will love it...
Plus Frick is awesome 😎🔥 in its own right
Been hearing that a lot lately. We're definitely gonna stop by there next time we're passing through.
@@dukeofmtb If you would like we could share some kind of contact information so you could let me know when you're coming down
@@kozakch79 Instagram would be the way to go with that. A lot of what we do is spur of the moment and just vaguely planned, so if you follow us on Insta and see a post saying we're here or there, or passing through this or that, a well timed DM should do the trick. ADHD brain here will forget otherwise. 😅 We're definitely planning to hit Kanuga in NC and then Windrock in February though. That one's set in stone. 😁👍
@@dukeofmtb i too may be hitting Kanuga - my boy lives in Asheville
@@kozakch79 Sweet! Maybe we'll see you there. 😁👍
