      @@ICKY427 Mate, you play Assetto Corsa, its nothing compared to the real thing. I play Assetto with a Fanatec v2.5 and i can vouch that its not up to par with a real life racing problem. To be able to correct and save like this while having sudden anxiety and fear is very impressive. (Keep in mind 180 miles in real life is much scarier than if your doing it in Assetto Corsa or any other racing games)

    Clearly most of you haven't watched until the end and seen the rear end view. This driver was perfect in the way he kept to the outer edge to let first couple by then saw another couple coming, used the gap, and accelerated off the edge and into a safe area. Perfect.

    What a save at that speed this guy is a beast. I had a blowout on my 02 f150 the rear tire just blew out I was traveling at about 60mph and man I thought that was scary truck swayed just like this thank God there was no one near me at that time on the expressway. The blowout also took out part of the bed it was a scary moment I can’t even start to imagine what a blowout would feel like at these speeds.

    Translated word-by-word from Finnish, what you see there is known as "cabin full of hands".
    At the beginning of the video, when the caption mentioned it being the right rear tire, I thought: "Doesn't Daytona have those crazy fast banked left hand corners because 'murica? Man would it suck to be the guy losing that exact tire in his 997 going into one of those." And then just that happens. That looked scary AF.
    Oh, and also, gotta say you held it like a champ. Whether some poop came out or not (not asking), most mortals would have ended up hugging the concrete barrier while facing the wrong way. Respect.

      He didn't lose the tire going into a banking he was coming out of the tri-oval to about a half mile flat section that then would go into a bank. Another thing is the car would have nosed into the wall and rolled. Nothing with hugging it and facing the opposite direction.

      I'm not a Mustang driver, but it seems a bit ignorant to say that, considering there are idiots driving every kind of car out there. Those same idiots in mustangs, wrecked that mustang and are now driving the same kind of car you are driving, while there are good drivers who decided to buy a Mustang because it's affordable and easy to build. Case by case basis.

      @@projectilequestion Well, if he had spun out and hit that side barrier going that speed, the car would probably be totaled. But if not, the car is a 997 GT3 RSR, in which sources tell me the car ranges between $400,000 to 500,000 full of racing and carbon fiber parts. replacing those parts would cost well over $100,000 to get it back to it's former glory. Anyone can correct me if i'm wrong.

      @@Cricis11700 You must be joking? The tires alone are more than 1K. The rims, suspension, underbody, brake system, quarter panel and maybe entire rear end were damaged. I'm assuming the intercooler too, although not familiar with this car. Not sure if you saw the panels flying away.
      Easily $20K in damages!
