hi Monica, thank you very much I ended up coming 2nd after getting punted on lap 13... i am happy with that.. not for the punter obviously! it is on my channel if you are also interested, just uploaded the the GT7 world championships - manufacturers cup Season 3 Race 4 at Deep Forest Reverse. my very little channel is just sort of for me, i think my community page just says that . going to watch more of your stuff, keep it up, awesome stuff! 👍👍
WOW, that must have been one hell of a track to race. Looks almost as dangerous as when F1 used to race on the Nordschleife! It took some real men to race in those days! Not like the ones that race today. Great job! 🏁 What kind of setup do you use? (Steering wheel, cockpit,....ect)
@SuperVT2000 I have the T248. It's an absolutely fantastic steering kit. Some of the buttons are useless on GT7, but all of them get put to use on ACC. I have a Minneer racing seat that is really good and sturdy. I am looking into getting a better steering kit, so I was actually thinking about the T300. Heard lots of good things about the T300 wheel and pedals. I just use a PS5 which is good enough for me.
That's a great set. The T300 is starting to get old now, unfortunately. But I would suggest upgrading once it's dies. That's my plan anyway 😆, I'm hoping the T818 will become PS5 compatible. The good thing about TM is the eco system, you can chop and change parts and sets.
@SuperVT2000 Yea, I have heard a lot of good things about Fanatec also but also heard their customer service and delivery standards aren't really up to par.
It can be a difficult choice, a lot of opinions nowadays. But no matter which company you settle on a DD is always the way to go, more settings and feel. Something I'll look into when the time is right.
Wow! Have you got this 'game' on extra hard settings? There is no way a gamer could work that hard and go that fast to come in 4th. So many refuse to play this because of the unreal achievements needed to win. Normal gamers don't have time to git good and so will never get anywhere in this game. Great try and well done, Sweetpea.
Thanks Ray, there is one more setting 'Alien' but I'm not there yet. Unfortunately, if you beat the AI easily, you don't push yourself to get faster. So, extra hard is a challenge for me, and I enjoy it that way. 🥰🥰

Yeah, it was tight. The banking is pretty bumpy, I might try something more modern to see how newer suspension handles it. 😀
