@VIRTUAL_RACERXX I run the 2 hour races in the GT4 BMW, which is a really nice sweet spot for solo running IMO. I ran the 296 in GT3 but found the racing better in GT4. I'm mid build on my new PC, but once that is done, I will start looking into teams and get back to running GT3 endurance.

@mariostorti6787 oh nice, and good on ya, mate. I should try GT4 more, any car you recommend? 2 hours is a sweet spot, definitely. New PC, nice. Hope it all works out well.

@VIRTUAL_RACERXX for GT4, I have stuck with the BMW. This season they just added the current model, which is fantastic to drive. It has a lot of front end at the cost of some rear stability (vs the old model), but once you dial in a setup and get used to it, its a much better car to race. I backed to backed all of them during a test drive session, and all of them have their pros and cons, but to me, the (old) BMW just felt the best all-rounder..

Hi TronDrew, I'm using the NLR F-GT rig, which is nice and solid and needed for a DD. I was looking into Moza. However, Simagic won me over because of their IRACING partnership. It is a great time, for Sim Racing equipment, I have to agree. Having so much to choose from can be overwhelming. No matter what you choose, I'm sure you won't regret it, I know I haven't. 😁 Happy Hunting.

I don't blame ya there mate, was the same for me. First 2 laps was a battle, we started p4 and I got knocked out twice in the GP circuit on lap 1 😖

I mean, they do the job... but I would emplore anyone, to try and get one. It's worth it just to get rid of the 10 degree deadzone in the middle of the G29 ... unreal.

@TrueBlade-1889 oh, absolutely 💯. The only way to understand the real difference is to try a good DD base. After that, going to anything under DD is impossible, haha. The dead zone was horrible indeed. I'm glad to see the back of that, amongst many other annoying things. The other must, I would say, are some load cell pedals

Also an Asetek owner, but SM was a strong contender. Both are rock solid DDs and can't go wrong with either company.

I did the same upgrade, the moza r5 brake pedal is shit though, ordered simsonn load cell set to pair with the r5

@Sports-Made I just got the spring mod for the lite peds. I really don't like load cells. But that's just a personal thing. Even the mod is bit too strong for me. But the Pithouse software is brilliant so I can create sensitivity curves etc.

@@TrueBlade-1889 With soft springs even the loadcell can be soft and squishy That way they are pretty similar

@VIRTUAL_RACERXX this is the one thing I added to my old set up that made me want to take it seriously. I have a tr8 pro track racer now with alpha mini.

@@VIRTUAL_RACERXX this is excactly what i have, a little transducer for the brake and a dayton audio bst-1 right under my seat. both powered by the same amp and managed with simhub. that's all i need, don't feel i need a shaker on 4 corners. everything works together to tell you what the car is doing. DD and sound up on the tyre noise, don't need to be overloaded with too much information. if your going for all out immersion, then sure why not, add all the shakers, motion rig and vr.

@voongnz you make a great point, if I had the money. It would be a nice little luxury. But I'm not to good with VR, I tried it on the PS4, and I didn't last long ... lol . But slowly slowly I am building up my rig. But sound definitely plays a huge part, always have turned up the tire noises and the volume, no other way to drive 😁.

Totally understandable, mate. I was thinking of the T818 since I was with TM, but they haven't updated or released any new load cell pedals. You'll be mega happy with the DD1, a good choice. Enjoy it mate.

I don't think so, I used AC on PS5 and this is a massive step up on PC. So many new cars and track to try. Always wanted to drive some Aussie muscle, and now, finally, I can 😁.
