I hate when these reviews give extremely vague “had a few issues” reports.

  • @WilliamKister
    @WilliamKister 7 років тому +7

I read the issues in the final review. You can still break the firearm down the same way as a Springfield XD just by pulling the trigger. No need to use the complicated way of doing it. The only reason I can see that being needed is if a round got stuck in the chamber.

I love my M&P9 2.0 with the 4,25 barrel. Maybe difficult to conceal the large 17rnd mag grip but super comfortable in the hand and is a great house or truck defender .

I got one in a 40 2.0 compact...it’s a great shooter. Hope it was made to hold up to the 40

I was told that they were designed around the .40 round before the 9mm

I have the 9mm 2.0 it's awesome. The only problem for me is when my magazine is fully loaded the mag dosen't go In with ease as it should. Got add a lil pressure to push the mag in.

I've seen a lot of police officers around the United States carry this gun and a 40 s&w some of them have it in a 9 mm but the 40 is much better it's between a 9 mm and a 45 ACP the gun is fantastic it beats the Glock clock just kept the same old thing over and over for the last 20 years smitten Weston is way ahead I give this gun five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🇺🇸💯👍

True, no improvements, same exact design, and Glocks used to be cheaper. Now days they’re expensive, add customization and it defeats the purpose of buying Glocks.
I never liked that Glock never added a safety lever or ever changed their ergonomics around the handle.
I bought a Smith & Wesson M2.0 9mm for $350. Cheaper, reliable, better design, great eye sights, phenomenal trigger, interchangeable grips, customizable, and better than glocks.

You also get a steel guide rod & steel sights with the S&W M&P 2.0 pistol.

@@PerceptionVsReality333 i did not know about the steel guide rod. Here in Orlando, FL, Glocks are the most popular handguns and are expensive.

Not bad at all. Somewhere between my hk p30l in 40 and my g35 gen 4. I took the safety out and Smith is sending me the frame plugs for free. Great customer service.

I appreciate your review. A follow-up question that I have... why do you consider this gun to be a good fit for a first-time gun owner or a female? Thanks.

I bought this and I dont know if it's me or the Gun. I had never experienced such a hard trigger ever. Am I doing something wrong. Please I need ur guidance.
I also gave it to my friend whom has 7 different guns & he keep pulling the Trigger but no action. At first he thought something is wrong but he then realized that it's the trigger being extremely hard.
I hope that's not how M&P trigger performs?

Recoil discomfort: Is the culprit muzzle discharge energy, or acceleration of the projectile down the barrel until it gets out of the muzzle?
Is the culprit of discomfort a function of acceleration, or the second derivative of projectile velocity called Jerk? or both?
Specifically, will a 4" barrel of 9mm parabellum caliber shooting 115 gr full metal jacket ammo 1190 fps 362 ft-lb energy at muzzle cause more discomfort than a
147 grain Hdy XTP at subsonic 975 fps and 310 ft-lbs at muzzle?
Do you have a source for pistol recoil discomfort? I am trying to decide which ammo configuration has less discomfort from recoil for the same firearm?

Hello. Thank you very much for your review.
I want to start in IPSC and I am hesitating between the M&P standard version or the compact version.
What would be the best size to enjoy this discipline in particular? Will there be much difference?
    Thank you very much

    • @scottkeppler6935

I had the compact verson wasn't a fan tons of recoil traded it in on the 4 inch model what a difference.

This gun doesn’t have a safety lock?

    • @edbeck8925
      @edbeck8925 Місяць тому

Rule #1 every gun is loaded, don't put your finger on the trigger unless you're going to shoot.
Do that and you don't need a safety.
SAO like a 1911 you have to have a safety if you want to carry with the hammer back

No the 11686 was not cut for a RDS. You could have it milled if you want but S&W make a version with the cut, just buy that one.

There are none. You don’t have to use the stupid seat trip lever to disassemble the gun. You can just pull the trigger like the rest of the world. Only dumb fucks have a negligent discharge while disassembling their weapon.

This S&W MP9 M2.0 has a beautiful print, I sincerely hope that Smit & Weson, put a good representation here in Brazil! Here we only have GLOCK and SIG SAUER to compete with it in which of the two sells more expensive. With an S&W representation here we would have a North American product of unquestionable quality and total acceptance by us weapons experts! This is what we lack.
The biggest problem for us here in Brazil with imports are the licenses and altorisaões! In theory at fixed rates, but in practice the remnant of the last years of the SOCIALIST and COMMUNIST federal government here in Brazil, left us with a civil service at the level of state departments that only operate on the basis of "PROPINA" CORRUPTION. We have to pay in addition to the service and import fees so that our firearms acquisition and registration processes can be deferred! We have a serious problem here with these SOCIALIST and COMMUNIST people in the public departments. If a company like S&W makes available a more objective representation, the acquisition of its products becomes more viable in our country! Gunscom,
Thanks for your attention; I hope you will represent us there with S&W if it suits you!
