You really like that 1 person per wheel ratio
This coment doesn't get the recognition it needs... interesting thought and observation 😅
Ed, this episode, and I believe the whole series, is bang on broadcast quality! You are a brilliant documentary filmmaker! Others went to university to learn this, but you learnt this over riding around the world on a unicycle!
Ed's voice-over quality is quite bad, though. Poorly done microphone setup.
@@prltqdf9 Give him a break. It was done in make shift locations with entry level hobbyist quality equipments. You can't expect him to carry professional equipments when every ounces count out there during his trips.
@@prltqdf9 Also remember the fact that he has been a one man team: Cyclist talent, director, DP, cameraman, sound guy, editor, script writer and everything else done all by himself, although in this series he has gotten some help from Aishola.
Gigi Han is right.
@@prltqdf9 - It sounds good to me!
This series really looks like the culmination of years of practicing filming, editing and cycling of course. Excellent work, compelling storytelling, looking forward to the rest of your journey!
My god...spokes in the handlebars is BRILLIANT.
22:43 that goodbye was from me
This series is already looking incredible and the ride hasn't even started yet, you utter magician, thanks Ed!
This series opens with a big Georgia bang ! Quite lovely.
I’m really enjoying it, watching sipping my coffee and eating biscuits (which are “my motivation “ 🙃) . Thank you Ed & Aishoola !
This episode was awesome, looking forward to see the whole series. You always awaken the traveler in me, but this quality is at a higher level, so enjoyable. Thank you for doing it!
Your unicycle trip videos were a bright spot for me during the covid lockdown. It's lovely to catch up with you again on your travels and appreciate your much improved production skills. Well done!
Just wow! Amazing to see how much you have improved your editing and filming skills in the last couple of years. Great series to Watch. Cant wait for the next episode. Cheers!
I’m looking forward to following the two of you on this new adventure. Great to have you back, regularly, posting.
I've watched you from your first day leaving England and have enjoyed your travels and what you are about. And seeing you meet and connect with your sweetie has been nice. But as I have already seen the last episode of this trip watching it from the beginning will be a bittersweet adventure. I wish nothing for you but the good you have given others, and then some. Be assured that you have made my life more enjoyable and I hope you keep rolling.
So happy to see you explore my country and the city, Tbilisi!
loved your country, can’t wait to be back!
Man, your editing has gotten so good! Finding a lot of inspiration in your recent work!
Very nicely done. Professional. You have integrated travel, human experiences, and the freedom of bicycling well.
Yesssss! Aishola & Ed out on another adventure! So pumped for the journey!
Incredible! Been so excited for this, and very excited for the rest of the series
I followed you around the world and have enjoyed your first episode across Georgia. Thank you, fantastic!
Looking forward to the whole series
Amazing video and audio quality! Glad you shared on this! Hat off!
That is the Rolls Royce of tandems. A beautiful machine and who better than you two to ride it around Georgia.
Great video, happy to have you back :) thanks for all the effort
It's a great day when we get one of your films, Thanks very much.
Absolutley fab! Have bee looking forward to this series. Great job to both of you
Just started to watch. Cinematography is amazing! Good luck guys!
Thanks for the video! would be a delightful watch :]
saving it for after dinner
Great job Ed - love the edit and the audio. I'm hooked (again).
I really enjoyed this first episode. Thanks for letting us tag long! I appreciate your videos very much! This will be fun!
Excellent...I’ve just discovered you’ve given us a new adventure to watch and in a country I’m fascinated by but will never get to! Thank you for pumping those mountains!
Loving those aerial shots, Tbilisi looks incredible
Its such a shame ive only found your channel recently! What an entertaineng first episode, and its only a beginning, so excited for the rest!
Awesome job on episode 1!!
Fantastic first video, really looking forward for the first bit of riding.
Phantastic Video again. I cannot wait for the next episodes. Thank You.
Amazing to see you on the road again!
Love the spokes in the handlebar idea, the string like a tampon, genius, no one can steal it
That was great! I’m glad you’re posting videos again. Welcome back. 👍☮️🌞🚴♂️🚴♀️❤️
Georgia is on the to go to list !!! Dynamic share thank you
Georgia is a cool country... I travelled the old silk road a few years back (Lanzhou to Cyprus overland). Looking forward to watching your experience.
Much prettier than I thought it was! Thanks for showing the world these places.
It really is stunning! And I’m sure we only scratched the surface
Another epic adventure ride!
Always great to see you pedaling, Ed! Keep up the good work.
Nice first episode looking forward to the rest
Loved it, it's bitter sweet but a always you are inspiring person and we all respect you .
I just finished the intro, looking forward to this series. from the title I thought you meant the State of Georgia in the US. this definitely looks a lot more adventurous than that would have been.
Amazing, I'm so excited!!!
thanks guys, great stuff
Been looking forward to this since the last video in England.
Again, an excellent video. Looking forward to the coming episodes. I do find it such a shame to know about the break up between you two 😢.
Yeah, that knowledge is gonna make the last few eps incredibly bitter sweet...😞
Ed. Just found your amazing videos. Brilliant. You’ve made one of the best travel series I’ve ever seen. You have a great ear for music and the song choices have been great as well as your edit choices. Great to see you back with your tandem comrade. Bold choice though with the semi hitler/Chaplin 16:31 moustache. Seriously, I love what you do look forward to seeing your adventures unfold.
Love these Ed!
Great work......superb and what a beautiful place to tandem from, Tbilisi, Georgia......keep peddling..... Good luck and God Bless 🙌
I remember that "Officially the southwest coast stretches from..." line from the southwest coast series ^^
Great job Ed! Super professional! Really engaging and enjoyable. You should for sure try and sell some series to places like Netflix etc
I imagine they might be after exclusivity deals which I also imagine goes against a 'free for all but if you want to pay then thanks' type of altruism from Ed. That and he might make a better ROI from Vimeo sales then he could get offered by the big guys. I could be entirely wrong on any number of those points, though...
20:41 Aishola with the khinkali socks - awesome! haha
haha i mean, khinkali socks is a must have, right? :)
@@aisholaaisaeva Essential, hehe! They think of everything :D
all the best for your journey !
Just loved it!! 😍
Watching your videos is a great event. I share them so that they can click on the link straight here and enjoy them as well. Quality videos and very interesting to watch. Looks like you adjust to many places and people and have fun doing it!
I watch a lot of YT but when my partner heard me play the promo vid Ed did the other week, she asked to watch the series with me and we sat down to watch this ep this afternoon. She even put her phone down throughout which is a *_huge_* compliment, Ed!
great video. Makes me want to go to visit Georgia.
Simply wonderful!
Love these adventures!
🤗 Hi Ed, Hi Aishola,
very nice video, looking forward to the next episode.
Warm greetings
Dagmar
THE NEXT SAGA BEGINS!
Thanks!
Cheers mate!
This channel still keeps the spirit of "one wheel per person". We shall call it collective unicycling.
Good luck I have a friend that lives in Georgia he says it's beautiful kind regards from Canada
Love your first part, be safe out there.
The whole trip is done & dusted, so given he's filmed pieces to camera for intros & outros, we know he made it back in one piece, so I guess the wish would be for them to have stayed safe (past tense). But we know they've both got sensible heads on their shoulders, so we should sit back, relax and enjoy the ride...
Greetings from Azerbaijan. I hope that someday you will come here, I know that you have passed here before, this place is just like Georgia 😃
You are a legend mate. Love the Somerset shots, I grew up near Yeovil.
My grandparents were from Yeovil
Been to Georgia last autumn, can't wait to see if you'll go through the Georgian Military road :D
uh it was a tough one!
The series won’t be the same without hearing “Elijah LeJander” to close out each episode…
That pie looked good. 😋
beautiful!
Awesomeness!
Yes the Shire LOTR music is back at the end! XD
Stunning filming and documentary making - inspirational Ed, thank You
I’ve always been spooked by navigating a roundabout from the wrong direct. It’s disconcerting
I'm not sure if a tandem is better than two separate bikes for this situation. With two bikes if one person has a mechanical then you still have the other bike to go get parts with, although as a couple in a foreign country maybe it's safer to stay together anyway
No more will we hear the poetic
"ElIjah Lejander"?
Interesting it has grip shifts, wander why, thumb shifters seem way easier.
Brilliant 👍
Love it :)
Started well :-D
Gaillard de Navailles almost has Elijah LeJander status in the name reading - very impressive
I cheered at theirs and a handful of other regular names and will give them all one last cheer next ep. Warren Snaider & Wolfie being a couple. Playing it back just now to get the spellings correct, I've recognised a few others from the past with less fancy names that don't stand out so much. It'll be a shame when he drops it but I guess everything has it's time and he clearly wants to move on to a different style of approach.
Any advice on finding wild camping spots in the UK? I'm currently cycling to every city and it'd help on costs.
Good 👍
Awesome :)
Good
Lol that title sounds familiar, like the "A bivvy, a phone and a drone: cycling home from China." from Josh Reid who smashed the YT algorithm and got 2,6M views with a clean very long video without bad in-video ads and so on....
Wanted to mention this too
The algorithm kept pushing that thumby with him cleaning his teeth my way for months, but I was like 'meh, it's not Ed and I bet this guy doesn't give a cheesy thumbs-up after a sponsored spot'
very nice. Is yours a geared tandem?
mate that beard is a no go 🤣
cool
It would've been funny If he did a full-on bait and switch with this series, and they were actually just biking around the state of Georgia. 🤣😂
You should team up with c90 adventures
Because we don't say it enough for these little treasures for which we only (have to) pay the cost of sitting through some awful adverts - THANKS!
There are ads? hahaha
@@gdgd5194 Yeah, you had a sponsored one for SurfShark and a promo for Vimeo, because ad blockers can't touch the in-vid stuff. Well, you might be on YT Premium (or whatever it's called) but from your response I doubt that.
@@ManWalksDogs Never knew anything until your post, I just skip through useless ads from sellouts.
@@gdgd5194 Hmm Ed's content is worth playing through and not at 2x speed or with the finger hovering over the 'l' button to skip forward 10secs, but yes, in general, I've seen the sort of paid promo stuff many creators find themselves flogging, though I'd never lump Ed in with those.
What map app do you use?
Rave on
No more weekly Elijah Lejander ☹️
good👍
What made you choose Georgia?
