This is a Constitutional Republic. Nowhere does it State that American taxpayers must pay for the illegal NON- citizens. These people ought to be deported or sent to Federal prison, NO other LEGAL options. Plus, the local and State governments have ZERO jurisdiction over the illegal Non-citizens. The LEGALITIES of "Sanctuary Cities" are called into question on the SAFETY and Constitutionality of the law itself. The local and State governments can NOT deport nor arrest these people. The naturalization clause alone does not grant the federal government an enumerated power over immigration. Justice Nelson's dissenting opinion in the Passenger Cases clearly states: "No direct authority over aliens has been delegated to Congress by the Constitution."
