A hit that unveils many memories, emotion, and joy for some, like myself. What a time it was espically with these live concerts, seeing Phil in his prime. Legendary. 💙👑

I have started the petition to encourage Concord Music Group to release unknown bootlegs with rehearsals from each solo tours Phil in 1982-2019 years. We know they exist and after all these years I think that should be allowed to hear them, we have a few rehearsals, but we want all to them. At this moment we have only rehearsals Phil with 1990 and part songs with 2004. Even if they don't want to release them on discs could be put online for us to download. If we can't get enough people to sign this petition then we could send it onto Concord Music Group and hopefully make them see sense and release them to us. Thank you.

YAAY!! No Jacket Required tour. I went to the Worcester MA concert in May of 1985. SO GREAT! That's when my now husband was informed that Phil was his only threat. 🤭
Fun dance song. The lyrics didn't mean much until years later. Over these many years, I've had several threats. 😔

This video reminds me of my teenage years because it was the first time I heard Phil. Back then I was 13 years old and I didn't know who he was because on TV they didn't even say the name of the artist or the name of the song. I was also surprised that a band had two drummers and a mysterious bass player with that long hair and beard. Years later, I was at a cousins house and among their records I found "No jacket required" and I finally knew who the artist was and since then I became a fan and later also a fan of Genesis.
Of course, the version of Only You Know And I Know from the Dallas version is great. If anyone is reading this from Concord Music - and I do not rule that out either - then please consider releasing the full Dallas video. It will really be a great live concert to the full. :) It was Phil at the peak of popularity - just like in 1989-1990 and certainly a re-edition of the concert from Dallas plus additional songs- I Don't Care Anymore, I Cannot Believe It's True, This Must Be Love, Inside Out, If Leaving Me Is Easy, Don't Lose My Number and People Get Ready- will be a huge rarity for Phil fans. :)
A thousand times yes!!!! Serious Hits Live and No Ticket Required were the best concert videos ever in the history of music in my opinion. Nothing compares to them.

This was released in the mid 80s on VHS called No Ticket Required. Sadly it's not the full gig from the No Jacket Required Tour, but what's on the tape, is really good. A great performance. Sad that this was never given a DVD release at some point over the years.
@@bigman208 Thanks for the information. I hate that about live releases in the 80s, that you never got the full show or it differed from the tape/CD. Hopefully someone gets wise and gives this a well-deserved DVD release.

There has to be a version with better picture quality. This is no better than the vhs I had years ago. I hope this is just a teaser for an eventual release of a 4K version of the original film footage. I mean, c’mon! This is Phil at the absolute peak of his career!
Looks like they simply just uploaded from the VHS master. It's a real shame that this was never given a DVD release with updated audio over the years. Perkins Palace as well.
