I went a few weeks ago. 45 miles over 2 days in from Church Stretton to East Ridge. It was amazing, can't wait to go again. The adventure bug is killing me
There is a great campsite where the tea room is with the nicest family who run it. Stayed in there so many times. Nice to see you boys down South. Top job fellas!
Hey Blake ,last time I back packed was back in 83,last year got Norco fat bike big foot ,u have inspired me to get panniers and go packing again, absolutely fantastic show nice work to u and Rich🙏🙏
It was Cycle Touring when I used to do it about 30 years ago, The advances in kit have allowed it to become much more compact. I used to have two sets of panners, frame bag and Handle bar bag just to carry my kit for solo camping. Have to say that I like the look of it. Only the sheer lay out to get all the new kit and an Arthritic body are putting the brakes on.
Nice Blake and Rich shame about the weather on the 1st day got 2 bikepacking trips planned for next year :) Looking foward to Rich's epic ride (if its the one he planned on komoot it looks EPIC) A Blake,Neil and Rich bike packing vid would be ace
I would love to see blake niel rich and mr ashton go bikepacking with blake and martyn on the tandem that would be one epic ride and one epic teambuilding episode
Make sure halfrauds put it together as it should ... Know someone whos bike never had crown race fitted on their forks Instead had top part of headset as fork race ... Within a week lower bearings destroyed and deep scores left in steel fork steerer ...
Going posh bike packing to the Jurassic coast in a couple of weeks. Packing my bike, riding down and staying at outlaws before purbecks and gone the day after 🤣🤣 Proper roughing it
The Jurassic coast is a wonderful place and truly worth a visit for anyone who likes being in the great 👍 outdoors and my point is proved that you don’t need to race to have an excellent time on your mountain bike 🚵♂️!!!!!!!!!!!.
Great vid! You guys definitely make a cracking presenting duo. Can you please do a vid of the gear you’re using. Really fancy giving bike packing a go. Don’t know where to start gear wise though
good job guys.i would love to see a video series though.maybe a 5 part thing. Blake Rich Neil and Martyn all on a ride. I think it would be interesting to see all the personalities working together.PLUS seeing Martyn out there taking it on would be great and an inspiration to others in wheelchairs. Just my humble opinion..Thanks
Nice vid. I live in Poole! I am really up for bike camping and love the look of the bike tents. Do you not worry about your bikes being stolen though (when at the pub)?
7:23 I live in Weymouth........shame you didn't do this a few weeks later when it was scorchio! TBH the Jurassic coast is from Weymouth to Lyme Regis......but has some hairy cliff rides!
Yo Blake .Bike packing is the best. My son and I do it as much as possible. Great content as usual. . Great to see there is no deadly creachers over there. . Come to Queensland Australia. . Do the crock challenge. And more
I would love to do this!! Birminghams rubbish for riding though, i have to have 2 bikes, an old probike thing (cheap and cheerless) for the streets and keep my roscoe 8 for the day rides cross country and bike parks.
Winter bike pack next... So you know what proper bike packing is.. Sleat and rain.. - 4 sleeping conditions.. Wet feet for 48hrs 💪 character building 😂👍
Hey fellas, the way you folks in the UK can simply hop fences into random farmland to continue riding is a foreign concept to those of us in the Colonies, where one would be prone to getting shot for trespassing! I'm jealous to say the least. So how does that work? Can you explain the rules and etiquette about traveling across someone's gated property for those of unfamiliar? Thanks and cheers!
Wheel Addiction, it's all about Public Rights of Way (unless otherwise stated). Best way is to look at the link www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2000/37/contents However Military land is a different story, suffice to say, if the red flag is flying don't tresspass! And lastly follow the Countryside Code
How did you get on with the topeak backloader (I guess it was the 15l) and your dropper post? I'm considering buying a backloader for commuting (will take lunch, 13" laptop and waterproofs) but concerned it'd sit too low and impact on the dropper.
Hey guys is the difference between enduro and trail that big because I’m in kind of a confusion which one to get but I’m more into an enduro for the little extra confidence it gives you, but is it really that hard to ride with on the streets to my way to the trails?
Blake that was another awesome adventure On the way back since you were talking about isles of white I think you should go over to the island check out Sean from isles of white Bushcraft after all you're not that far away
Have you ever been Bikepacking? Let us know 👇
no, but i wish i could
I went a few weeks ago. 45 miles over 2 days in from Church Stretton to East Ridge. It was amazing, can't wait to go again. The adventure bug is killing me
Very tempted to invest in a one man tent to do the same. Would be an idea to use the trains and venture into the lakes 🤟
Yep, with my kids on their balance bikes! Best part of parenting I ever did! They still asking for adventure time!

Ooooer Bi-Kampers. Loved this vid, some good banter ✌️
Sometimes I see videos from ‘across the pond’ and think we’re not all that different. Then there’s videos like this.
That was epic guys... 😊
I’ve run the Jurassic coast but never cycled. It’s on my to do list now.
Can you please expand Bikepacking Week into Backpacking Month. ThNK YOU,
the riding through the ford part was funny, i would not have the guts to go into it that fast.
Could you make a Video about the Camping Equipment? Bikecamping is so cool.
Great video, next time you need to head further west to the hilly part of the Jurassic Coast 😹

The camera man looks after them, for a glass of lemonade and a bag of pickled onion crisps.
Great video... looking at doing a few of these bikepacking trips myself and just wondered what Garmin you guys use or would recommend?

After watching some of your adventures videos I've just bought a tent and sleeping bag which I'm going to try this out

How about doing the coast to coast from Whitehaven to Whitby?
Where you guys actually biking? Seems you were mainly cruising around the cake house
Highly enjoyable as always despite UA-cam aggressively adding adverts. I'm still not going to pay for UA-cam premium
One thing to say to you :- ABP
Glad you shared that 🤦♂️
John M UA-cam doesn’t decide how many ads are on a video the channel owner does
Good fun.
